Right guys, it's unfortunate for me to say this but I am going to have to drop this FF temporarily. Uni work has been getting to me since its the final year of Uni for me. I might pick this back up soon since finals are in a couple of months.

I usually write to de-stress and I really like the support most of you have given to me. If I ever feel like avoiding work I might write a chp or 2 but this is it for now. I am going to re-put the chapter I deleted last time, so that some of you can enjoy it.

Chapter 17: This is definitely not canon..

(Alright boys, now is when I mention, this is an AU, don't like it, see you next time BYE!)

Eventually, we reached an abandoned forest. After he landed, he threw me.

He threw me right into a tree…

Right as I was about to make contact with the tree, I just went into it. When I opened my eyes, I could see that I was not in Japan anymore…I was in some unknown location.

Grandpa himself then walked in slowly, then I realized, we probably just warped.

"You're here earlier than expected, Garp. Did you find what we were looking for? Who's this kid?" A man said, as he walked towards me.

He seemed to be about 6'2 with an extremely muscularly compact body. With dark hair and clearly of non-Asian descent. He wore a mask to cover how he looked.

"This is my grandson! He will be with us for the next 17 days!" Grandpa said, as he slowly walked towards the man.

"And you just revealed our under-cover operations? What would you do if he followed you?" The man said in seething anger.

"He didn't, I would have known. Anyway it's just my grandson." Grandpa said.

I stood up from the floor, to realize it was sandy. I looked around me and I could not see anything, other than a small forest, a couple of abandoned islands near me and the beach.

I followed the strange man and Grandpa into the forest.

As we were walking, I clocked what Grandpa said before and shouted," Old man! You disappear for 5 years without saying anything, and now you are kidnapping me away from school?"

"School? He is a student?" The man asked which grandpa just ignored.

"Luffy, school is for kids. What is UA going to teach you that me and the world's greatest detective cannot teach? You have the sports festival in 18 days and that is when you are going to be a full fledged hero!" Grandpa said.

Right, he is basically Garp, but Marine swapped to hero. He wants me to be a great Hero to help the world.

"He is in UA? Why would you go to that place out of all places?" The 'world's greatest detective' asked.

I didn't actually respond. Even if I had a choice I would still go there since it is the closest place to the plot…but that was before my fights with the Nomu, now I just want to get stronger.

"Now, Garp, I am going to 'that' place. Do not show your grandson around." The man said, as he just walked into the air…

"BWAH!" Grandpa said as he made fun of him.

"Lez go Luffy, it's time to start your training." Grandpa said as we walked into the forest.

I quickly caught up to him and asked," Where have you been all these years? You just left."

Grandpa did not reply, and eventually, we reached a super large area of flat land, and he hit my head.

"OUCH!"

"Now, we are going to start your training. Try and dodge my fist." He said as he passed me a blindfold to put on and started just punching me.

Well, now I have started a process of randomly getting hit on every single part of my body.

He didn't explain what Haki is, what I have to do, advice, nothing. Just dodge or get hurt.

After about literally 2 hours of getting nowhere, he stopped.

I was glad, feeling extremely tired, as I took the blindfold off, only to see a massive boulder in his hands, as grandpa had a stupid smile on his face.

"Put this on your back and do squats until I am satisfied."

"Don't stop Luffy! How do you wish to become stronger like this?" Grandpa shouted, as I really could not anymore and dropped onto the floor.

It was after 48 squats. 48 was a good number for a boulder of nearly 100 Kgs (220 pounds) was it not?

"Tch." The man who came back from the portal scoffed, as he saw me give up.

Grandpa made eye contact with the man, then moved deeper into the forest, eventually leaving my sight.

The man came up to me and grabbed me by my collar, pulling me up.

"Is this the mentality you want to have in this world? You think you can get stronger without pushing yourself to the utmost limit? You came into an unknown environment, have you even thought to survey your surroundings, or did you think just because your 'grandpa' was here you would be fine."

"Calm down man. I am trying as hard as I can." I said, as I felt his rage.

"Are you?" He questioned back, and I did not respond. I have only technically been in this world for a couple of days, in these few days I have been doing my best.

He threw me onto the ground and said," Hit me 1 time, once, and I will leave you alone."

"I don't know what got you all ril…" I was saying before he cut me off.

"Of course you would try to avoid a fight. I mean, there is no way you, a kid could live up to the legacy of Japan's 2nd greatest hero. You want to know what your grandfather has been doing? While you were sulking and missing him, he has been making sure other grandchildren don't miss their grandparents.

I mean, unless you cannot take your head out of your ass and realise some people need more help than you do and try, maybe you aren't cut out for this.

Hell, maybe you want to be a hero for money and fame. That's how you seem anymore. But what the hell is a rubber condom going to do against people like the Joker or people whom you just fought?

I mean you could just blow yourself again couldn't you. Boohoo, mommy and daddy left me, grandpa is not ne…"

As I charged right at him, he jumped really high into the air. I looked up to see him levitating, his boots were some kind of special technology.

I jumped up as well, but right as I hit him, he moved back, and placed his hand on me. I felt an immense cold on me, to the point where I wanted to scream, even though I was in a state where I could barely feel pain due to the adrenaline rush.

Then, I felt something being wrapped around me, and I got hit face first onto the ground.

What the hell is going on? Why am I upside down?

As I was thinking that, he pulled me out of the hole front of the ground. As he did, I let all the air off of my mouth, to try and push him away from me and myself to fly away.

However, I looked down to see wires tethering my feet to the ground, and the man himself had his boots have blades connecting him to the ground to beat him.

" I don't need my quirk to beat a fucking condom." Was the last thing I heard.
