The Shoot

"Well, if you think that she's good enough, we can bring her on board. Get her to coordinate with Takehiko-san to have her meet the crew. We're starting filming tomorrow." Takehiko is the manager of the set crew and has the responsibility of managing the tedious tasks that Kazuya doesn't want to do, like getting approvals for the shooting locations and everything.

"All right. I guess there goes our summer break…"

"Nah. We have quite a few locations that we have to go to so, our summer break is going to be filled with trips and different adventures."

"Right…"

The next day was the commencement of filming. Kazuya was taking up the role of the director. Everyone was already on set by the time he arrived with Chizuru.

Ruka wasn't coming for the day since her shooting comes a bit later.

He arrived with flair in his car with Chizuru and walked to the center of the set, where almost everyone was gathered.

"All right, guys. Today will mark the commencement of the shooting of the film, Starstruck. I'm Kazuya Kinoshita, the director/producer of the film and I hope we can work well together. Let's make a masterpiece people!" Kazuya introduced himself lightly and everyone applauded him for a few seconds.

"Let me introduce our lead actress, Chizuru Ichinose." Kazuya pointed to Chizuru.

"Ah, right! I really appreciate you all for giving me this opportunity. Thank you so much. I'll give everything that I have as an actress for this role, I hope you'll bear with me."

She was met with even louder applause than Kazuya.

'Yeah, yeah. She's beautiful. I get it.'

When introductions were done, Kazuya clapped once.

"All right, guys. Enough stalling. Let's get rolling and get this movie on the road."

Everyone got into position and the film crew set up the cameras and the lighting everywhere.

"You there. Move your camera further back. You, turn that fill light by 20 degrees…"

For the first scene, Kazuya had to give quite a few instructions to the filming crew since he wasn't used to working with them. He might've seemed like a bit of a controlling asshole but he knew that it was necessary. They would be learning quite a bit when working with him anyway.

"Takehiko-san, I need you on crowd control. See that the wanderers don't block the shot."

When everything was finally set up correctly, "Kyoko, the stage is yours now. Scene 1. Take 1. And action!" *Click* Kazuya clicked the clapperboard. Kyoko was the name given to grandma Sayuri in the movie since they weren't using real names.

With that, shooting started in full force. Their schedule was jam-packed and they had only a week to complete all the local shoots. The next week would have them traveling to a few different places since some of the scenes needed a specific environment and location.

The first scene had Chizuru in a white wig and some wrinkles on her face, looking very much like her grandmother. It was going to be the start of the movie. Where grandma Sayuri narrates her life story to her actual granddaughter.

Chizuru was going to be playing two roles in this scene so she was first going to record the scenes of Sayuri Ichinose aka Pheonix, which was her stage name, and then she would record the scenes of the granddaughter Chizuru Ichinose who was going to be called Chiyoko. Both of their names were going to have the character of 'Yoko'.

Chizuru, being the sweetheart that she is, wasn't only doing all the actions for the day. She was also helping out around the set. She quickly won the hearts of every single person on the set.

Kazuya was sure that after him, Chizuru was the one who did most of the work on the set.

The only reason that Kazuya had more work to do was that he was the director. He was constantly dealing with the entire film crew. Having to manage the lighting, and camera angles. He had to pay attention to the tiniest details in each shot while managing the film crew.

This was how Kazuya became the asshole director who kept ordering people around in this intense summer heat.

On the first day, they shot all the scenes where Pheonix was talking to her granddaughter while narrating her life story, so most of the acting was done by Chizuru, who by the end of the day, was tired to the point of falling down. She wasn't just acting, constantly helping out around the set was more tiring than the acting stuff.

The moment the sun set and the set wrapped up, she basically flopped down in Kazuya's car in the passenger seat.

The first day was wrapped up amazingly with a large chunk of the time-consuming stuff finished. After all that, the only thing that was left was to shoot.

When they both went home, Kazuya gave his girlfriend who had been basically standing for the whole day, a loving foot massage that led to quite a few other things.

Even though Kazuya was equally tired, if not more. He still made sure to pamper his tired girlfriend after their long difficult day at the shoot.

Chizuru seemed to have realized that as she seemed to show her gratitude and love through her actions and also her words.

Having his girl cum while screaming 'I love you, Kazuya!' at the top of her lungs as she jumped on his cock was an experience Kazuya could not get enough of.

He had been planning to do some 'director coercing his actress into doing lewd acts for her role' role-play but decided to do it another day. They had plenty of time to try so many things.

Along with the next day though, came the hurricane known as Ruka Sarashina.

It was time to start filming the real story. The first day of filming only had the narration parts of the story so it was majorly Chizuru's role. Today though they were going to be shooting her with her rival, the antagonist of the show, Naomi. Which was again, a made-up name. The person was real, but the name wasn't.

There were also quite a few other members of the cast that were arriving. Chizuru had even invited two of her friends from her acting classes to act in the movie.

After they realized the budget and the story of the movie, they instantly came on board since they understood that it was probably going to be a very good movie.

'I'm curious about that Umi guy… He's been a friend of hers for so long but I haven't had the chance to meet the guy yet.'

Kazuya remembered Chizuru telling him that he was her friend who got her this gig.

From what he'd heard about the guy Kazuya would've assumed that he was gay. Especially since he never bothered to make a move on Chizuru. But apparently, he had a girlfriend or something.

The moment Ruka arrived on the set, she ran to Kazuya.

"So, Kazuya… Are you impressed?" He noticed that she dropped the honorific.

"About what?"

"I've already reconciled with Chi-chan. It's only a matter of time before she agrees to my other request."

"…Chi-chan?"

"It's a pet name I came up with for Chizuru. She didn't mind."

"Is that so…" Kazuya was sure that Chizuru did mind but was too annoyed to say too much.

"Can I get a reward for my hard work?" She looked at him with expectant eyes.

Kazuya was confused for a few seconds before deciding something.

He brought his hand over her head and gave her a few pats.

"You did well."

"I'm not a dog…" Ruka acted averse to his action but her embarrassed expression with a blush gave her thoughts away.

"Don't you think she's amazing?" Kazuya noticed Chizuru who was getting some touch-ups. He looked at her while his hand was still on Ruka's head.

Hearing his words, Ruka held his hand that was on her head and brought it in front of her face.

*Chomp* She bit his hand.

"Ow!" Kazuya pulled back his hand.

"Humph… I already told you that I like you and you're praising Chizuru right in front of me. Don't you have any decency?" Ruka acted as if he was wrong for praising his girlfriend.

"Hey, she's my girl. I can praise her whenever I want. And if you're going to get jealous over these kinds of tiny things all the time, then you might as well give up now. There isn't going to be any sharing if you're so jealous all the time."

"I-I…" Kazuya's words caught Ruka speechless.

"Think about that for a while. And prepare yourself. Your scene's up after this one." Kazuya left Ruka there and went to talk to Chizuru.

The camera crew was prepared and set everything up the same he'd instructed them to yesterday, so it didn't take as much time in setting up the various equipment today.

"You ready?"
