Chapter 34: Confess

Nanon's POV

"Hey man calm down. If you don't like to share your escort its fine" he said only to recieve two more punch.

"Mind your tongue bastard! He is my husband!"

He was shocked and apologised quickly. My grip on him loosened for a moment and he ran away. I didn't bother to chase him because I myself was shocked at what I said.

I declared him as my husband!

I stood silently thinking about everything happened. I declared him as my husband instead of just saying he was my friend. With this all my confusions are gone. I now fully understood what I was feeling towards him and Puimek.

I love him!

I. Freaking. Love. Him.

All I felt for Puimek was admiration, may be a small crush. The thought of kissing her disgusts me.

But this realisation didn't make me scared. It bought a warm fuzzy feeling in my heart.

Should I drop everything I was doing now and confess to him? But what if I hurt him like in the past? Now I don't want to hurt him even unintentionally.

But will he accept if I confessed? He is getting married in two days. I hate to admit but Pluem looks like a perfect guy, who could make their partner happy. He has got a perfect job, happy family, equally rich like Chi.

I went back to our room and laid beside him, watching him sleeping like a baby. I have to savor the little time I have with him now. Slowly I also fell asleep.

Ring...ring...ring...

The sound of my annoying alarm woke me from my slumber. I turned it off quickly. He was still sleeping. I took a few minutes to etch the beautiful face glowing under the rays of morning sun in my permanent memory. I grabbed my mobile and took a snap. I got up silently and closed the curtains to allow darkness in room for few more minutes. Let him sleep well.

I silently did my morning routines and woke him after taking shower. He got up groaning. After seeing the time, he got ready quickly. We both were standing in reception of hotel to clear the bills.

"Looks like the creepy guy got a good lesson" he mumbled to himself but I clearly heard it.

"What?" I asked and he sighed heavily. He came closer to me and whispered, "don't look quickly. The man standing near the newspaper stand was eyeing me creepily last night. I think he did the same to some other and someone taught him a good lesson." He said chuckling and stepped back.

I quickly turned to see who he was talking about, I saw the same man from last night. His face was clearly bruised. On seeing me, he quickly got up and left. I did a small chuckle seeing him terrified of me.

We payed the bills and left the motel. We contacted the person who we were supposed to meet last night, and got their video. We had breakfast in their house.

We went around getting six more videos from the people on the list. We still need to get only one video from this person called Apple. Only their house was little far from other people.

"Hey Nano, stop here" Chi said suddenly asking me to stop. As we were currently on a bridge, I stopped few metres away from the bridge.

"Chi...what happened?" I asked concerned. He sounded so urgent when he asked me to stop.

He got down and quickly grabbed the videocam from his bag. "Did you saw something rare?" I asked still confused by his actions.

"Nothing rare, come with me" he grabbed my hand and lead me towards the bridge. He stopped in middle and took a deep breath. The road was also free with one or two vehicles passing.

"Stop staring at me and see the view" he said. Then only I saw...the sky was dark, laden with heavy rain cloud. But the sun was trying to peek and see the world from behind the clouds. The sunlight has brought a silver lining to the cloud. The dark greenish trees on either side of the river were waving silghtly to the gentle wind blowing. With mild drizzle and chill air the whole place looked aesthetically beautiful.

"This place is romantic" he said smiling. I agreed with him. I saw him taking in the beauty of atmosphere. It was even more beautiful with him.

"Stand here" he positioned me to stand sideways and went few steps back. He placed the camera in front of his face and took some photos of me.

After taking few shots, he showed the pics he took. It was really good.



"How is it?" He asked with sparkling eyes.

"I look gorgeous" I said earning a eye roll from him.

"All credits goes to me, because I only captured this gorgeous photos" he said huffing.

"You only added extra beauty to my already handsome face" I said showing my best smile.

"You know what, I am deleting these" he said and I quickly stopped him.

"I am just kidding! It was you who make me look gorgeous in those photos. Happy?" I said and he just showed his brilliant smile.

"Ok ok stand there again" he said and I went back to my previous pose. He also went back to his original place and held the camera in place again.

"Ok...you are looking good. Now confess" he said from behind the camera.

"I love you Chi"
