EPISODE 307; THE RUPTURING! THE HOUSE OF SOARING LION TURTLES PART XI; QUARANTINED BLAZE! THE CONFLICT BETWEEN DECAY AND REGENERATION!
Saito utilizing the Pyrostellis Luminares now bonded to the Psyches of the Ocean Life monitored their Scout for the Mountain Of Olympus. Though the Scout for the Mountain Of Olympus remained quite elusive in its findings, it did not take the Ocean Life long to report via Telepathy on the Weaver Of Calamity's Cursed Energy Barriers. Saito noted that the Barriers were made of the Black Inferno Of Destruction. The Pressure the Barriers exuded was filled with malice towards Life and could paralyze, incapacitate and in the worst case kill any Living Being that carelessly approached them.
Fortunately, Saito had advised the Ocean Life to maintain a reasonable distance from the Cursed Energy Barriers and instead map out how far they extended. The Ocean Lifeforms were to form a Scout Legion that remained within maximum signaling range of one another so that they could effectively communicate with one another while maintaining a vast coverage area. It did not take long for Saito to discover that the Weaver Of Calamity's Cursed Energy Barriers had formed an Encirclement around the Region their Peristylium usually navigated. This Encirclement was a kind of Virtual Prison Of Decay made from Cursed Energy.
Saito reported this to Ariel and they relayed this to Emerald, the current Chief Of Their Peristylium. Emerald calmly informed the people of their Peristylium about this development with encouraging words and advised them to remain calm since she was certain they could pull through this by working together and sharing ideas.
Meanwhile Ariel and Saito were discussing this recent development.
"Saito, you do have some sort of plan to deal with this scenario don't you?" Ariel asked.
"For now, we need more info on how far the Weaver Of Calamity's Cursed Energy Barriers extend. We already know they extend as far as the Ocean Floor. Since we succeeded in releasing the Vapourized Blaze into the Air and drove away the Shades, the Weaver Of Calamity's Forces don't seem to have made any notable moves leaving aside the Cursed Energy Barriers. Now I will link to the Birds Of The Air and get them to scout for us how far the Weaver Of Calamity's Cursed Energy Barriers extend above Sea Level" Saito said.
She linked the Pyrostellis Luminares to the Psyches Of The Birds Of The Air establishing complete coverage both with the Aerial Life above Sea Level and the Ocean Life beneath Sea Level. Even the Animals on the Mainland seemed to pick up on her Telepathic Communication with the Pyrostellis Luminares and sent her reports.
From what she could see, the Weaver Of Calamity seemed to have launched the Cursed Energy Barriers specifically to contain Ariel's Blaze. It was a kind of selective quarantine that targeted her Blaze in order to isolate it and thus prevent it from extending into the Regions the other Teams were in. The Cursed Energy Barriers extended all the way to Earth Orbit specifically the immediate environment in Outer Space surrounding the Earth.
"That's a bit of overkill but now we have our confirmation. The now Blazing Phoenix Tears within the Ocean and the Vapourized Blaze within the Air in this Region were potent enough to drive away the Weaver Of Calamity's Forces. He launched the Cursed Energy Barriers specifically to isolate us in order to maintain his hold on the Regions the other Teams currently occupy" Saito realized.
Suddenly Ariel noticed something odd while viewing the images the Aerial Life captured and overlapping that with the images captured by the Ocean Life.
"Saito look!" Ariel pointed out within Saito's Psyche.
"What is it Ariel?" Saito asked.
"The Cursed Energy Barriers beneath the Ocean are thinner than the Barriers above it. It must be an effect of the Phoenix Tears with my Blaze" Ariel realized.
Saito activated an Energy Field Filter that displayed the Energetic Forces emanating from the Phoenix Tears and her Blaze within the Ocean. They were amazed at what they saw. Her Blaze now extended throughout the Oceans in their Region. They couldn't see past the Weaver Of Calamity's Cursed Energy Barriers but they noticed that her Blaze and the Phoenix Tears seemed to be causing a rapid decay in the Weaver Of Calamity's Cursed Energy Barriers. The Weaver Of Calamity's Energy Barriers seemed to be the kind that regenerated when a layer decayed thus there seemed to be an ongoing battle between Degeneration and Regeneration, Decay and Restoration.
"If this is what is going on, we just need to find ways of reinforcing the concentration of your Blaze and the Phoenix Tears" Saito suggested.
"But we can't do this alone, we'll have to coordinate with the other Teams, San and Ciella's, Keiran and Concordia's and Arlene and Mitsuki's" Ariel realized.
"Since we exchanged Maps Of our Peristylia before beginning to ascend Olympus, we should be able to contact the others" Saito said as she activated the Pisces System and sent messages to the other Teams.
"I hear you loud and clear Saito. So the Weaver Of Calamity has quarantined Ariel's Blaze and the more effective variation of the Phoenix Tears within your Region in order to maintain a hold over our lands" I realized.
"Yes, if we can shatter the Cursed Energy Barriers, the concentration of Phoenix Tears rapidly building up in the Air and Oceans in our Region should flow into yours and rapidly reduce the range of the Zone his forces can occupy. It's basically like an overflowing Dam ready to break open and flood his Zone" Saito explained.
Keiran smirked.
"Interesting, that makes our work a lot easier. San and Ciella's House and Concordia's and mine are currently within Olympus. Our people should be safe. We can investigate this situation for you if you want" Keiran said.
"That would be helpful, thanks" Saito said. "You did hear the Weaver Of Calamity's threat didn't you?" Saito asked.
"We did. With what you've just told us it's justifiable why he'd go to such lengths but remember, his target is you Dreamweavers so you'll have to be extra careful. We'll also have to investigate more about what he meant concerning the return of the Seven Souls Of Evil and his intent to debut them once we reach the National Level Of The Sigil Enhancement Program" Concordia advised.
"We don't need to stick to the Weaver Of Calamity's timeline. Instead, we should be seeking out ways to sabotage the return of his Tails before the time he intends to debut them" I said seriously.
"Saito, Ariel, we'll scout our Regions to see if your Mountain Of Olympus is somehow outside your Zone and within ours. Just keep calm and keep doing what you've been doing" Keiran said.
