Paul's perspective
the day after our family meeting I was on watch with my friend Laws. we were talking about our kids. Laws was mentioning how sylphy is wrapped around Basil's finger which made me kind of chuckle a little bit and I replied to him saying < that's a two-way street > how so Laws said. I replied < we had a family meeting yesterday and I learned something I didn't know about basil it seems he has a weakness for the sad puppy dog look > really law said in disbelief.
I responded with another chuckle and said
< yep basil seems to have a problem telling sylphy no > then I suddenly remembered I had to talk to him about something so I said
< there's something I'm going to need to run by you > so I told him of my plan of how we're going to limit sylphy's interaction with basil and Rudy. after listening to all this Laws agreed and said it was an excellent plan although it was a plan that sylphy will not like and will take her a while to accept.

Basil's perspective
father sent out the letter that had our plan written on it to Philip and now we are awaiting his response. as we are waiting nothing much has changed I'm still helping around the house and babysitting. I'm also still teaching Rudy and sylphy swordsmanship. sylphy is still learning magic from Rudy and reading,writing in math from me. I'm still making magic scrolls,toys and statues and like always sylphy is glued to me.
a few days later and the letter came agreeing to our proposal. so me and my brother started to get packed because we are going to be leaving Tomorrow and of course my brother had to pack his holy relic. I asked father how am I supposed to tell sylphy that I'm leaving. he replied < if you're having a hard time telling her give me a signal and I'll help you out > okay I then said < the signal will be a wink> okay father replied.
after we got packed we were having the last dinner for a little while with the whole family.
mom was telling us how much she was going to miss us. even Aunt Lilia mentioned how she's going to miss having us around. father laughed and said < now I can finally be the man of the house again > I responded with < what are you going to be moving into a smaller house > we all laughed at that. but still I wasn't looking forward to having to explain this to sylphy.
the carriage and sylphy arrived at the same time. sylphy looks at me and asked < is everything all right what's going on> I looked sylphy in the eye and said < me and my brother have to go and tutor Eris don't worry I'll be back once a month to visit > sylphy immediately starts tearing up latches on to me and starts begging me not to go.
I take one look at her sad puppy dog expression. and immediately start losing my willpower. it's official she knows what she's doing to me she knows that if she keeps this up she will get her way. I start winking at my dad for help and guess what he's doing he's laughing at me even mom and Lilia are chuckling to themselves. Laws seems to be at a loss for words. it's up to me I guess ain't nobody going to help me.
I take a deep breath and grit my teeth and I tell sylphy
ghislaine was waiting for us inside the carriage and apparently Eris wasn't going to be the only person we will be teaching. ghislaine agreed that for teaching us swordsmanship we be teaching her Reading writing and arithmetic which seems like a fair deal to me. and like always Rudy can't seem to stop himself from looking at ghislaine's massive chest. I don't say anything because it doesn't seem to be bothering her that much she's also probably used to my father doing it.
Rudy asks me what kind of girl is Eris I replied with Rudy replied
