Alyssa, Hannah, and I arrive at Lycantina, laden with shopping bags. I had used just about the last of my ‘fun money’ to buy an outfit for the big celebration tonight; however, it was so worth it because I don’t think I’ve had so much fun shopping before.


“That dress you found, Mack, is going to make Roxy lose her mind,” Hannah says as pulls up to the bar.


“Um…you’re acting like Donovan won’t forget his name when he sees you in yours,” I reply as I hear Ramon greet us from the back room.


“Oh, she didn’t forget that,” Alyssa laughs as she goes around to the back of the bar to help Ramon.


“Pumpkin, have a seat! I got this.” Ramon emerges from the back.


My jaw drops when I see Ramon decked out in a fully tailored midnight emerald suit, which hugs his muscles just right, a white button-up shirt, and a black tie with small white polka dots. His beard is freshly trimmed and oiled and his hair is slicked back.
