"Escapism is a game for people to do just that. Escape. Take their minds off of the real world and live the life of fiction. Of course, what's a game without a story line? So, we let the gamer choose whether they want to take on the story line or not. That was the main point of the game." Mer crossed his arms over his chest. "We had lots of offers on the game, but I just couldn't think of an ending for the story."
"What do you mean?" I asked. "Did you give it an open-ended ending kind of thing? Or like an alternative ending?"
He shook his head, "Nope. I didn't give it an ending at all. I never finished it."
"So…But someone was playing the game. There was a player."
"Player? Oh…I guess you mean Koen did help us test the game out. But there was never an ultimate ending. We just let the game run itself after. See what the characters do for themselves."
