The quality of the novel is incredible, if someone told me that this is the author's first book I would not believe it. If you are hesitant to read due to the low number of chapters, each chapter of this novel is comparable to 5 chapters of most novels on this site. The MC is pragmatic, at first it may seem not, but don't give up, after a while it explains why, and the MC corrects this flaw
MC was a true emperor before he was reborn. So the time he's still true emperor. He survived all struggles, schemes and conspiracies. So we expect he's matured and experience person. But the things is after he born. Even he knows he is now weak. At first 19 chapters, mc staying low profile and secretly cultivating and planning. Which is good, mc really utilized his wisdom and knowledge in order to survived. And now author wants to build emotions to that girl now to the point mc become angry when that girl is missing. Now mc becoming a sect master even he is still weak so he must remain low profile. And now the mc, he didn't stay low, everytime he goes out he didn't bring protectors or etc. to ensure his safety or play safe. Now enemies planning to assassinate him. But that scene its seems forced plot to me. Mc deals in that situation was really stupid. He didn't interrogate the enemies, In fact Mc showing his true prowess which is very good intel to the enemies. And now enemies knows his potential and prowess. This is really forced and stupid way to build a plot. I've even think if mc really a reborn person or how he survived when he's still a true emperor if he is that stupid and dumb person that didn't even realize his mistakes.
