The Prophecy

Dream showed June around the camp explaining how everyone in camp was a Demigod just like Dream and June. Dream explained that the Demigods are children of the Greek Gods and Goddesses, and sadly the Gods and Goddesses forget about them and only claim half of their children.

"So, why am I here?" June asked

"Because, as I said before, you are a Demigod" Dream explained

"But we aren't sure who your parent is," the goat-legged man said,

"And who are you?" June asked

"I'm Noran, I'm a Satyr" the man answered as he bowed his head

"Satyr?" June questioned

"Satyrs are a hybrid between a human and a goat. The God Pan was a Satyr as well and kept company with the other Satyrs." Dream explained

"Weird, but ok" June responded a little confused, but seeing as there was a Satyr in front of her, she went with it. Dream showed June the activity centers, the stables, and the cabins.

"You will be staying at cabin Hermes until your parent claims you," Dream said as she pointed at the cabin overflowing with people,

"What if I don't get claimed?" June asked Dream

"Then you stay at cabin Hermes" Dream explained with a sad look in her eyes as she looked at cabin Hermes.

"Now now, it's not like Camp Hermes is always depressing," Noran said as he patted Dream's shoulder,

"How about we go to the main house?" Noran asked

"Sure" Dream answered with a smile and looked at June

"We have our Oracle there," Dream said

"Oracle?" June asked as she followed.

"Welcome to the main house," Noran said as he opened the door for Dream and June;

"This is where we have our important meetings, and where we talk with our Oracle" Dream explained to June as they walked in,

"Okay, and what is an Oracle?" June asked as she looked around

"An Oracle is someone who tells prophecies, their Apollo's, the God of archery, healing, the sun, and so much more, important people." Dream explained as she flopped onto one of the couches.

"Did someone say Oracle?" asked a girl, who seemed to be Dream's age, with bright blue eyes and short purple hair

"Ari!" Dream shouted and jumped from the couch to hug the girl.

"June this is Aria, our Oracle" Dream said

"Aria this is June, we met her out in the woods" Dream pointed to June, and Aria's eyes fell on June.

"Hello, Creation," Aria said as the room filled with green smoke,

"What the heck is going on?" June asked

"She's going to tell a Prophecy" Noran answered, eyes focused on Aria. Aria's eyes went white and her mouth fell open as more green smoke filled the room,

"One Half-blood shall rise." a snakely voice called out around the room;

"The Creation may rise to oppose the evil or join the evil. The Creation and two others will go to the rising evil. A traitor, the three will meet and a battle will undergo. The Creation will bring peace or death." the voice spoke from Aria, and once the Prophecy was over the room and Aria returned to normal.

"Ugh, it's been a while since I've had to say a Prophecy," Aria said as she coughed,

"Anyway, hi June" Aria said with a happy tone and grabbed June's hand

"Um, hi?" June answered giving Dream a questioning look

"She moves on fast" Dream explained shrugging her shoulders like it was nothing.

"Wait, what does that all mean?" June asked as she pulled away from Aria

"Well, Creation means you, June" Aria explained

"That much I know," Aria said

"The rest is to figure out" Dream explained

"So, I have to figure this out?" June asked

"No. You will go on a quest with two others. You will go once Aria and I talk more about this Prophecy" Noran explained as he laid a hand on June's shoulder,

"June, go with Dream," Noran said

"Diner should be served soon". Dream walked towards the dining hall with June following behind with too much on her mind. Dream entered the dining hall and pointed to the tables that were overflowing

"You have to sit over there after you get your food" Dream said to June

"Where are you going to sit?" June asked, nervous about being by herself,

"I'm going over to the table with my fellow siblings of Athena" Dream said as she pointed towards a table where the people were eating while reading or sharpening weapons. June grabbed her food and headed over to the table with the campers from Hermes cabin. June sat down at the table with the least amount of people and tried to enjoy her food.

"Hey newbie!" someone shouted from the other end of June's table

"You enjoying the food?" the person asked again as she came over to June,

"Sure" June responded and continued to eat.

"Good good, well I'm Bella, daughter of Hermes and leader of the cabin, so if you have any questions or problems feel free to come to me," Bella said as she sat down next to June,

"Thanks, Bella, my name is June" June responded giving Bella a smile and then went back to eating

"See you around June" Bella said as she walked away. June finished her meal and went to find Dream but found Jace instead,

"Hey, June!" Jace called from his table and June went over

"You done?" Jace asked

"Yeah" June responded, trying not to look at the people messing around with their hands and metal.

"These are my fellow siblings of Hephaestus, the God of volcanic fire and forge," Jace explained as he pointed to the people at his table, who quickly waved and then went back to messing with the metal in their hands.

"Come on I'll show you around," Jace said as he got up

"But Dream already did that" June replied

"Yeah, but my tour is more fun," Jace said as he winked at June. Jace walked over to the stables and opened the doors to show June the Pegasus,

"Woah" June gasped at the beautiful animals, who responded by neighing in thanks.

"Come on," Jace said to June as he walked in

"This is Fiona," Jace said as he pointed to a brown Pegasus, whose mane and tail were red,

"She's going to take us on a tour" Jace whispered to June and urged her to get on Fiona. June hopped onto Fiona and waited for Jace to get on as well,

"You ready?" Jace asked

"Sure" June replied as she held Fiona's mane tighter

"Here we go! Fiona, let's go" Jace said as he urged Fiona to take off. June held on as Fiona took off into a canter before stretching out her wings and taking flight.

"June, open your eyes" Jace whispered into her ear and June did as Jace asked, she opened her eyes and gasped at how beautiful the camp looked from above.

"There's the dining hall, the stables, the cabins, the archery arena, the sword area, and the forge!" Jace shouted over the wind in their ears,

"Amazing" June whispered to herself. Jace finished the tour and told Fiona to land;

"Did you have fun?" Jace asked as he got off Fiona

"Yeah!" June said with excitement and Jace laughed,

"Fiona will be your Pegasus now June, so take care of her" Jace said as June jumped off of Fiona

"Really?" June asked as she looked back at Fiona

"Yeah" Jace smiled as he saw June's eyes light up. June said goodbye to Fiona, who bowed to June, and followed Jace to the Hermes cabin.

"Thanks for bringing the newbie, Jace," Bella said as Jace and June approached the cabin

"No problem" Jace replied before turning to June,

"Have fun June, and don't be afraid to come find me or Dream if you need help" Jace said to June

"Thanks, Jace" June replied with a smile before she went over to Bella.

"This is your sleeping bag and your piece of floor to sleep on. If you have any values keep them hidden or close cause Hermes', the God of herdsmen and protector of travelers, merchants, heralds, and thieves, children take after him." Bella explained as she threw June a sleeping bag and pointed to an open space on the floor,

"Thanks" June replied and laid out her sleeping bag. Bella went to go check on the others while June tried to sleep, but June had too much on her mind to go to sleep. The Prophecy was still bothering June and June wanted to figure it out. June checked to make sure everyone was asleep before she snuck out of the cabin to the beach. June sat on the dock and sighed,

"What's wrong June?" Roxy's voice filled June's head as Roxy appeared next to June.

"Roxy!" June shouted and hugged Roxy

"I'm so happy you are here! Why weren't you around today?" June asked

"I'm a monster to Demigods, so I couldn't just walk into their home" Roxy explained to June

"Oh," June responded.

"So, why are you sighing?" Roxy asked

"The Oracle said a Prophecy when she met me" June explained

"And I have no idea what any of it means",

"Let me explain why you have powers and why you can understand me," Roxy said to June

"I'm really different aren't I?" June asked

"Yes, you are" Roxy responded.

"Now let me explain why you are different," Roxy said and June listened

"The Gods and Goddesses predicted a great evil coming in the world, and in order to protect the children they had they needed to create something powerful" Roxy started to explain,

"The Gods and Goddesses came together and decided to put one of their powers into a child. The child was created but the child needed time to grow and get accustomed to the powers it was given. The child was given to Hestia, the Goddess of the Hearth, but the child was taken from Hestia by the evil force. The child was deemed missing and the Gods and Goddesses searched high and low for the child. That child is you, June. You were the Creation of the Gods and Goddesses. Your mother kidnapped you from your home and tried to bring you up so the evil could use you against the Gods and Goddesses." Roxy explained everything and June was stunned,

"I don't know what to say" June responded

"You don't have to say anything June, just think about what you want to do," Roxy replied as she laid her head on June's legs.
