Alastor stood at the edge of the mountain, his face fuming with anger as he stared at Ashley.
“You traitor!” Alastor shouted, charging toward Ashley.
Ashley raised her sword just in time to connect it with Alastor’s. “I didn’t betray you, Father,” Ashley said. “I was just trying to solve the situation without anyone getting hurt.”
“There is no peaceful way to solve this,” Alastor growled. “The Gods and Goddesses need to die for us half-bloods to move on.” Alastor shoved Ashley to the floor and pointed his sword at her. “My way is the only way.”
“You just want to be the authority figure that everyone looks to for answers and advice,” Ashley retorted. “You want the Gods and Goddesses gone so you can take their place, don’t you?” Ashley stood up from the ground while glaring at Alastor.
“I’m trying to change the world for you,” Alastor shot back. “I want to keep you out of harm's way. I want to make sure no half-blood has to fight for someone else.”
