Headmaster Wama never once looked at Sevir to warn him against talking to Princess Kamiko. If anything, he marched ahead and left him with the two women. Sevir kept looking after the head headmaster for any signs of unease, but found none. He knew the man was leaving him to talk, and he did just that.
“Now is a good time to talk,” Sevir said. His earlier apprehension had not faded away from these women, but with everything that happened in the short time he was in this world, made him confident about talking to them, or dealing with them, if needed.
“Follow me.” Lady Rou said, quickly walking past him, huffing a little with every step, leading them out. Princess Kamiko followed immediately. Sevir hesitated a moment before he too fell in step with the princess. Lady Rou looked at him over her shoulder and continued faster. Or she tried.
