“How is your hand?”
RuIng raised his hand. The fingers were as good as new. Sevir’s eyes widened. “Wow. It didn’t even leave traces. What did you use?”
“We have a lot of herbs and potions for specific spirit beast elements to deal with things like these.”
“Like magic?”
RuIng rolled his eyes. “There is no magic. The spiritual sites all have unique properties each. Things retrieved from there can function as remedies for different ailments.”
“Now you sound like my father, only ancient.”
RuIng face pinched again, and he was gone without a word. Sevir had an uneasy feeling with the way RuIng ran as soon as he mentioned his father. RuIng did not even know his father. Why did he always run? Maybe he thought that he had a family once while RuIng never did?
Sevir shook himself out of those thoughts. He couldn’t think like that.
