Sevir was stuck between the burying cage behind him and the foxes in front of him. As their tails swiped back to catch him. Sevir dived in between two broken bars that had enough space for him. The burying cage was already half in the earth and shook terribly. He couldn’t find a good footing and fell, half burying himself in the loose earth.
Suddenly, overhead, the bars flew off, and the griffin dived, catching him in between four paws and flew back up.
“Secure the totter.” Augustus Iluther commanded. Sevir was surprised to see that the man was still standing despite the wobbling steps and disturbed earth.
