“That damned old man.”
RuIng raised a brow. “Now what happened?”
“That old man was the god damn spy. They promised to bring back his son if he can get the crystal.”
“You mean he brought you into his place of work to find a spy, but he was the spy? Why?”
Sevir snickered, “I don’t care. He has been playing me like a fiddle all this time. I’m going to kill him.”
RuIng did not agree with him immediately. Sevir made a face, “what are you thinking?”
“Why not play along? Why not act good and use his resources, his people and act like you want what he wants to? After all you do.”
Sevir narrowed his eyes, “you think it is the way to mother?”
RuIng bit his lips then nodded, “not exactly, but it could be a way to travel back and forth more easily. Someone on the other end, on my end, is controlling it. If we know how she travelled or who controlled the movements within the crystal, we will know where to start looking and who to talk to.”
