Easy Kill

Sevir looked at the faces, pulled taunt with lean muscles, dark skins, enormous eyes and a mix of limbs and fins.

Short tunic and loose pants, held together by a belt. Easy for movement and a sense of freedom instead of grace. With Bailong’s clock removed and his tunic torn, he looked like one of them, who just came out of peril.

Bailong in dark hair was a different kind of beauty. It made his usually light appear radiant. All eyes were on him. They all looked like healthy young men in their mid thirties, about his father’s age. He guessed they were older by the depth of their eyes and the cautious line of them.

Bailong stepped around him, but he held him back.

“Esteemed leaders, we want to challenge the sect leader to a leadership dual.” he bowed slightly in respect.

They looked at one another, eyes exchanged unsaid words. One of them stepped forward.

“Why don’t the unknown guests join us and we will prepare for the dual at the sunset.”
