Stepping out of his gaming capsule James felt slightly exhausted, but he currently didn't have time to rest, he had business to do. He refilled his cabin with some S-grade Nutrient fluids with a complicated look, the Nutrient fluids were running out rather quickly and now that the tournaments had ended it would be extremely difficult for him to get more, at most he would last another 2 months with the supply they had, he could only hope that his partnership with the dragon-phoenix pavilion worked out.
Before that though he had to take a flight to country S where the headquarters of the dragon-phoenix pavilion was located, the flight would take a full 10 hours so he decided to, against his own better judgment, stop Olivia's team from going to sleep and help them with the 7 epic quest they started already, with VR goggles on the plane. These epic quest would give pieces of legendary equipment so that ones you combined the right ones you will get a legendary piece of equipment, these pieces where all at least epic grade.
So after an hour James was sitting on the plane and put on his VR goggles, the synchronization rate on these was far below the cabin but getting a VR cabin on a plane now that gods Domain wasn't yet integrated with society as it will be in the next couple of years would be a headache, so he settled. After logging in he appeared in front of town hall, he didn't see Olivia yet so he decided to take a quick look at his status.

James decided to spend most of his Mastery Points into one handed Swordsmanship, making him a sword king and increasing his damage with the sword to over 20.000.
This left him baffled, normally even guild leaders of super powers had to spend years searching for rare quest and countless resources to complete them to get to this level in their masteries, yet James could get there by mostly just level up, a class based on a God that has the power of one of the 3 great elements sure is powerful, before James could glamor at his new title any longer a system message woke him up.
System: congratulation on being the fastest being recorded in history to be granted the title of sword king, as reward for this amazing achievement you will be granted the title of [Blessing of the God of Swordsmanship].
James had never heard of anyone in his universe getting such a title, and he remembered the first person to get to the Sword king level being an independent player who had come across a lucky encounter, he would have surly bragged about something like this that couldn't be stolen, so the only conclusion that James could come to was that they didn't mean Fastest of this universe by the word fastest, but fastest in any universe.
Now that he knew this James got extremely excited to look at his title, it must be amazing if it was a title given to only the fastest in all gods domains.

Most of this would be pretty vague to all the current players, but James knew exactly what this title did and how powerfull it was, to begin with the backlash nullification, some powerful swords that could easily rival legendary weapons would be balanced by the fact that they had backlash, but since James could nullified that he could use them just as powerful weapons, the second part was even more impressive to James. The ability to cut the requirements in half might not sound that good to any player now, but the most powerful weapons that he was planning on acquiring such as pseudo-divine grade ones had ridiculously high requirements, so high that most if not all [Tier 6] players had no hope of equipping them, but with this it would give him a big leg up, but all of this was just the beginning, the real power of this title lay in the second part. The second part contained giving you higher comprehension in Sword techniques and skills, this wasn't of much help at the moment now that the skill update hasn't been released and combat techniques weren't available yet, but when those 2 where out this title would become insane.
The skill update would release relatively soon, from James's recollection it would be in about 1 month when the mainstream players all had reached [Tier 1], this update would change how skills would be activated, at the moment you just had to think or say the name and the system would execute it at around 80% completion, with the new system you had to do the motions yourself and your completion rating would depend on how well you do them, so it is quite easy to see how James's extra comprehension in the Sword would help with this, he could get way higher completion rating ratings, therefore boosting his damage greatly and he would have to spend way les stamina and concentration in the process.
While he was thinking about all the amazing benefits of the title he saw Olivia and her 4 disciples coming around the corner so he closed his status menu after equipping the title and went to greet them.
Olive quickened her pace when she saw Oliver with an excited but also tired look in her eyes, she had been online for over 4t hours already after all.
"So James, what quests are we going to complete that were soooo important that you couldn't let us rest."
She said with a pouting face.
"Well I was just going to do some random epic quest that involved only combat, but planes have just changed, I assume you already started the quest that leads to the Sword [killing Ray]."
Olivia was a little confuse by this, just a little while ago James had told her not to go for that quest yet and focus on more important ones, since [Killing Ray] had a equipment requirement of level 30.
"Yes we do, we just have to go and give the special liquor that we collected to the beggar who is supposed to be a long lost soul that was ones a resident of thunder city."
She said still with a confused look on her face.
"That's great we will be going there shortly so I can also receive the follow up quest, but I won't need you guys help with that, you will have a other assignment whole I complete that. You have gotten the skill advanced stealth right Olivia?"
Advanced stealth was an extremely rare and wanted skill for Assassins, even most [Tier 5] Assassins had extreme difficulty trying to find it. It's effect weren't that different from normal stealth, the only difference was that advanced stealth was way more potent in making your presents disappear, with Olivia's current skill as a Domain Realm expert in combination with this rare skill, no [Tier 2] beast would ever notice her if she didn't want them to, some [Tier 3] beings might even overlook her if they aren't careful.
"Yes I have it, I even managed to get it to level 4 with how much I'm using it."
She said with a proud voice.
"Great, I just sent you the locations of all the mysterious-Iron and above treasure chests in level 15-20 maps that contain designs of armor and weapons around this city that I know off, with your stealth skill it shouldn't be a problem getting a lot of them without wasting time killing monsters, also take this time to level up your lock picking sub profession. Give all the designs to Iron periodically so he has some time to make them."
Olivia just sighed when looking at the map of endless chests, which was very out of character for her, but James could understand perfectly well, she had just worked for 45 strait and was now forced to do another 20. He also would rather let them sleep a bit more before they had to start studying but if he wanted everyone to complete their [Tier 1] promotions with the highest score and make a perfect start to the build of their foundations they had to have better armor, the Bronze gear wasn't going to cut it, or at best was going to make it last a lot longer and make it a lot more difficult.
After gloating for a bit Olivia took James to a ally way in the slums where a lone homeless man was sleeping, James took the bottle of liquor form Olivia and shook him awake, him handing over would give him the biggest chance of getting the second part of the quest even though he never did the fist one.
"Old man wake up, I heard from my friends here that you needed this liquor so I got it for you."
The old man rolled around still with a drowsy look in his face, but when he saw the liquor that instantly disappeared. He took the bottle out of James's hands and started inspecting it.
"this is indeed the bottle that I asked for, thank you young man. Now that I know how far you would go for a poor man like me I would like ask another favor from you, but this time it is much bigger then just getting liquor. I am not actually a living human u see, but a spirit from old times, too full of regret to let go, this regret has to do with my friends that I abandoned in the fallen thunder empire. As a consequence their souls where trapped there for eternity while I got to run away Free, but as you can see, at the moment I'm not much freer then them, so would you do me a favor and release their souls from the runes of the fallen thunder empire?"
James was relieved, the old man was clearly talking to him so the strategy of him handing over the bottle clearly worked.
"I would be more than happy to."
