Rebel

Richard's brows furrowed as he listened to James's words. He knew that the Duke held a deep-seated resentment towards their father, the emperor, but he couldn't fathom the idea of the Duke leading a rebellion. The consequences of such an act would be catastrophic for the empire and all those involved.

"Will you shut up, James?" Richard replied with exasperation, his patience wearing thin. He didn't want to engage in a conversation that veered toward treasonous notions. His loyalty to the empire and his father was unwavering.

James, however, wasn't one to back down easily. With a raised brow, he continued to taunt his older brother. "For what, brother?" he teased, his voice dripping with provocation. "Sometimes I think you will join the Duke to rebel against my father and me."
