Inis lowered the female body downward onto the ground and overlooked everyone that was still in a deep sleep.
Their hands and feet were tied with cloths, vines or what looked like long hair so the goblins had used whatever was available to restrain them.
It was one of the reasons why Inis was able to carry them outside without fear of them waking up and trying to fight back.
There would still be some of the effects lingering in their bodies from the burned herbs so they would still be in a weakened state upon waking up but they had been through a difficult time which left each of them very weak even before she had found them.
They were no real threat to her no matter the situation and only one among them seemed to possess a little strength of their own but were still fast asleep and restrained.
There were a couple of ordinary human females among the group while there was a pointed eared and pale skinned human figure which resembled as elf.
The elf had a large belly just like a couple of the women lying there so once Inis had realised that, she thought to herself. 'Whether in the dungeon or those living outside after being pushed out of the dungeon, elves were very prideful beings. I do not think they will be able to accept such a thing happening to themselves.'
Elves were prideful and beautiful beings which Inis quite admired but during that time, they were the ones who were the enemies of humanity along with many others that came from the dungeons or remained inside.
Being with that high pride would rather die than live with the shame when such a horrible thing happened to them so there were two obvious paths ahead for the elf.
She would either succumb to rage and wish to avenge herself or she would wish for death.
There would be no other alternative and there was a chance that after achieving her goal, she would still choose to end her life after knowing that she had achieved everything she wanted to.
Her gaze turned to the figure which had been lowered to the ground last.
There was no bloating on the belly but there were some slight stretch marks around that area which made it look like they had given birth before or perhaps more than once.
The belly was not inflated but it had been stretched while not being in the regular shape as some extra flab was hanging down which was the result of her body carrying several goblin children inside of her and not being able to move around.
Despite the look of the stomach area, the rest of the body was much thinner just like all the other women laying there which showed that they were poorly fed and that most of the nutrition went to the new borns inside of them before they were born.
That was not what had caught the eye of Inis though.
There were many kinds of different monsters which were bugs, flying types, humanoid species, monsters, demons, water types, ancient or legendary species.
Among them were some which were difficult to put into one category because of the vague descriptions in various legends or myths belonging to the earth's past records.
There were some that were known as deities while others called them demons or monsters.
The figure she saw before her eyes was one of those which was a special type of species which had myths involving them being described as nature spirits or deities while some believed them to be demons because of their appearance.
The woman had a beautiful face even though she was malnourished while her ears were pointed, her auburn hair was long and unruly while she had a human head, torso and her bare ample breasts were left uncovered without any cloth or clothing unlike the other women who had made attempts to cover their bodies a little with what they had so her slightly tanned skin had been left exposed but she did not show any signs of being ashamed.
On top of her head were long horns that were curled backwards while the lower half of her body which started at her hips were different from an ordinary humans appearance.
Instead the horns and lower body was very similar to what people would recognise on the body of a goat.
Her lower half was exactly the same as the hind legs of a goat while she had hooves and a tail.
The fur on her legs matched the colour of her hair while the hooves and horns were grey.
The figure of the body looked slightly taller than most average female humans so if she was standing up, Inis would look like a small child if she was standing near her.
If Inis was able to identify her age then the figure and size of the woman suggested that she was in her late teens due to her already being fully matured but she did not suffer from any signs of ageing yet.
She looked down on the figure which lay there and placed her hand on her chin. 'There are two names which people use to identify this species and they are called Satyr or Faunus. Their female counterparts are known as Satyress or Fauna. They are an intelligent humanoid species which have an excellent affinity with nature. Most would be usually found in a dungeon with an arctic, desert, mountain or forest layout so it is not strange to find one in a place like this.'
While most species of the dungeon creatures did have certain abilities or skills to display due to their affinities, many of the none physical skills did not manifest until they gained greater strength.
For example, a dragon was extremely powerful but could not use such skills like flame breath until they could reach a stage which allowed them to use energy in some way.
Some with a greater affinity or talents with a certain type of energy could have the chance to use that innate skill or ability so many supernatural abilities were not displayed by them during their time of birth and during their initial growth stages.
It was one of the reasons why many hunters chose to kill or capture certain creatures from the dungeon when they were still young and weak because they had great potential and would be seen as a large threat in the future or as something with great potential to raise as a pet.
It was very rare but there did exist some people that played the role of a tamer that allowed them to tame and form contracts with the creatures within the dungeon but there was a limit to the level difference and the amount they could tame without having their skill fail.
Just like the Satyress had an affinity with nature and were believed to possess excellent musical abilities which could be compared to the skills of a bard, humans were able to learn how to use their own energy to strengthen their bodies or use their energy like performing a magical spell or a supernatural power.
Inis could not stand around forever and wait for them all to wake up while she could not carry them all to safety so she took out a couple of leaves and quickly ground them up.
A small amount was placed into their mouths which mixed with their saliva then slid down their throats with a little assistance from Inis who held their heads at the right angle to allow them to slide down their throats better.
One more leaf was taken out and was lit on fire using the tiny remains of the wood which was still in flames which caused the herbs to burn and release a little smoke.
It was placed close to their faces and underneath their noses so they had been quickly jolted awake like they had been awoken by the use of smelling salts or something similar.
"Where?"
"Water.."
"Hic.."
"There is light.."
"Uwaah."
While some broke down in tears or were confused, there were some of them that remained in place as if they had no life in them.
It was like they had accepted what would happen to them and they no longer cared about or felt anything that happened to them.
Once someone suffers so much, it was natural for the body and mind to protect itself which would lead them to displaying such an appearance while not showing any changes to anything around them.
Inis let out a sigh as he eyes turned towards the Satyress who had woken up and tried to stretch out her body while looking around filled with curiosity and no fear.
Their eyes locked suddenly as they both showed curiosity towards each other.
Inis coughed to clear her throat then spoke to the seven women which lay there tied up. "Decide.. death.. join or freedom."
