Day Seven #1

Xeni ate the fruit and could feel the strong energy spread through her body so she quickly found a place to sit down.

The energy circulated through her body as it was slowly refined when she was using the method that Inis had taught her.

The energy was refined slowly and her own aether energy within her had started to increase as more became a part of her.

She may not have felt the immediate effects of it strengthening her body but so long as she kept circulating it all through her body enough, it would help to speed up that strengthening process.

It was the same for Inis who had consumed a more potent amount of energy that was being made a part of her.

The power of Xeni was far more compatible with the natural ingredients due to her natural affinity with nature but there was the circulation method that was based on the world essence that let her accept that kind of energy much higher in quality and quantity that she could successfully absorb.

She did not have such a high quality of energy so it did not require as much of the energy from the fruits to be refined to make up for the quality to not be reduced.

Inis on the other hand did have a very high quality of energy that was very pure so it required more or higher quality energy to refine to the quality level of the level of the world essence that had formed the foundation of her power.

Xeni had gained power quickly and had jumped up several levels to put her between the middle and the upper stage of the first realm after she had only ate one fruit.

Inis had drank the large amount of fruit wine that would usually be drank in small amounts to increase the power of the monkeys and that potent energy had been refined to mix with the world essence that made up the foundation of her own power.

Her power was slowly climbing up the more that she had refined overnight and the more that she drank from the fruit wine.

Her improved Gremlin physique that allowed her to eat just about anything had helped her handle the higher amount of wine that she consumed but the circulation method had helped to stop it from running rampant throughout her body.

The world essence purity of aether energy required far more energy or a much higher quality of energy to allow its growth but what Inis had consumed was more than enough to push her closer to the peak of the first realm.

The rampant energy within her that could not be absorbed and was too much for her body had been concentrated towards her back so that the burden was reduced.

Many cocoons were lying around the shelter that Inis was seated in with her legs crossed.

Each of them seemed to contain a higher level of energy within them compared to what her previous cocoons looked like.

The energy that Inis had added to them were far more than before due to her expelling the excess energy within her that could not be handled during the first time drinking the fruit wine.

The right amount could not be taken right away and it could still cause problems within her body or it could not have been completely absorbed so pushing that towards the creating of new borns would allow stronger Gremlins to be born.

Inis did not have a mixing or alchemy type of skill in her previous life and she only had the knowledge needed to survive in the dungeons so she could not accurately judge how much could be drank all at once and there could have been many changes made from the differing eras so she had to try it for herself to test her own limits and the overall effects provided.

The power of Inis had grown since she had first used that ability and she had a lot of excess energy to use so there were far more cocoons released from her body that seemed to be growing with stronger power than the others before them.

After absorbing the first amount of energy or distributing it elsewhere, she was able to get a more accurate judgement of what was safest for her new body and how the fruit wine along with the core of the Treant had both been far more beneficial for her growth than consuming other creatures.

There were still some cocoons nurturing other newborns in the cave that had been left behind while there were already others that were being nurtured within the shelter in the tree.

The other Gremlins had each been ranging in power level between early or medium stage after they had gained several benefits from eating the fruits and the bodies of other creatures.

The newborns that were growing beside her already had the potential to evolve past a normal Gremlin into an evolved creature that had Aether energy within them and had evolved past their normal limitations.

The cocoons left back in the caves were less likely to produce anything but normal Gremlins that had inherited certain traits from her own skill that evolved her into a slightly higher grade of species.

Each of them would have different starting points and advantages but those that had been around her for longer would still have the advantage in terms of how much more time they had to learn more from Inis and how many benefits they had gained to increase their own power.

Another reason why Inis had chosen to use such a method to use up some of the excess energy gained from the fruit wine was that she was not in a hurry to increase her own base level of power past her current realm.

Her body still had to get used to the energy within her and be strengthened enough over time and her own efforts before she had chosen to step into the next realm.

Her power needed to be as stable as possible for a breakthrough and when she broke though to the next realm, Inis had a faint idea that the overall benefits gained would be much better when her body was in the best condition to accept and adapt to the new realm of power that would be improving her physique further past the abilities of her current state that was in the first realm of power.

Each realm had their own stages and once a new realm was stepped into, there would be a clear difference that would be shown from those in a higher realm than others.

It may not always be that big of a difference in every situation but when two people were fighting head on with similar experience and skills then the one with the higher and most stable power would be the one to come out on top.

Various creatures would have their bodies strengthened further upon reaching the next realm so there would be a clear difference between them and those that were at the peak of the realm below so it would be far more difficult for a peak realm to be able to wound something that was within the next realm unless it did not have time to adapt to and be strengthened by its new realm of power.

It could be said to be the same when guns of the old era were mentioned and once the levels of the dungeon creatures reached a certain level or grade then the bullets would be unable to even pierce through their bodies.

Inis had walked out of her shelter and her eyes overlooked the area where the bodies had been pulled aside or dismantled by the other Gremlins. 'They really do work quickly.'

If there was any talent that Inis had found to be one among the Gremlins that could either be a good or bad trait about them then it would be their innate talent for dismantling and destruction.

There would be times where that talent could become a double edged sword to have so many of them around her, they may all be under her control but she could not control their every action and whim.

A single action from the Gremlins could prove to have disastrous consequences if it was another type of environment that they were apart of but in the wild, there were far less opportunities for larger problems to be created from their destructive tendencies.

Instead it was made to be very useful to completely dismantle the bodies and to strip away what useful materials and ingredients could be used in preparation for what would be needed for the next phase of her plans.

A small smile appeared on the face of Inis and her head turned towards Xeni who had climbed up the tree towards her level and walked over. "What is it?"
