Day Eight #3

The larger and purer state of energy had run rampant throughout her body the moment that the crystal had been chewed up and swallowed by Inis.

The moment that she had swallowed it, she had found a place to sit in a meditation pose with her legs crossed then closed her eyes.

Her body was seated there peacefully and she looked very peaceful but the inside of her was in a completely different state.

The overflowing energy that was out of control was raging around wherever it could go until Inis had taken a couple of light breaths that followed a certain rhythm.

The raging energy inside of her was swept up by the calm energy that was flowing through her under her command.

Using her method of refining her Aether Energy, the current energy that she had refined had travelled around her body to each point before picking up the energy that was running wild in other parts.

Each circulation of energy had helped to gather more and the wild energy had gradually been swept up and moved in circulation with her Aether Energy.

With each circulation, the energy had blended to her Aether Energy further and the more refined her own power became.

Rather than focussing on raising her own power right away, Inis had continued to work on removing any kinds of impurities that remained in her body or in the core of her Aether Energy.

The quantity of her Aether Energy or the stage of her power may not have grown but the quality and purity had been raised slowly after she had continued the process of refinement.

The Aether Crystals were not any kind of resource that helped to raise the power of others but was a natural source of Aether Energy that was contained within.

Some may have been in a smaller amount or of a lesser quality but even a low grade piece of stone was far better for her than consuming different creatures or other resources to raise her power.

Having a better source of energy to use had allowed the roots of her Aether Energy to return to its best state very quickly after she had consumed a couple of them.

The stage of her power had remained at the very peak of her realm and her Aether Energy was in a much better state in terms of quality and was much better refined than before.

It allowed for the circulation of her Aether Energy to be much smoother and for there to be less impurities that remained in her body to cause problems later down the line or to slow down and impede the flow of her energy pathways during her circulation cycles.

The energy inside of her was much more refined and was in a gentler state that flowed through each part of her body to make her feel warm.

There was far less of an obstruction or a feeling of discomfort that came once she had continued to circulate her energy further and let the energy flow to every part of her body to allow it to strengthen her body.

All of her attention was focussed towards improving her physical condition with her refined energy so that her body could catch up to her stage of power and adapt to it.

Her body was slowly being strengthened with every circulation cycle that she did and that continued for a long time until she had felt herself lower on energy and had become hungry once again.

The balance between her energy and her body was previous very imbalanced but that gap between both of them was slowly being closed with each circulation of her Aether Energy.

Energy circulation and refinement methods were what made the advancements of power possible for humans and other races but there was little known about whether it was possible for other creatures to be able to use the same methods.

The better that the refinement method was graded, the fewer flaws it would have and the smoother the cultivation of power would be for those that used them.

There were more common methods that were distributed while there were others that contained the secret methods of a family or organisation which could not be passed out to outsiders.

There could have existed some methods that focussed around the refinement of the body and others that were more suited to allow a person to train their Aether Energy to take on a different form or elemental state but the method that Inis was using was of the highest quality possible.

She had learned it from the guidance of the essence of the world that she had absorbed so it was already in the best possible grade that could be available and surpassed many of the methods in the world.

It was enough to make many of the larger clans and those below them be very envious and would make them wish to covet it if they found out about it.

What was more important about the method was that it was perfectly suited to Inis so it had one hundred percent compatibility with her while others would be using methods that were passed down by others that may not have fit them as much as another.

The most crucial part that had let her outshine others and helped to increase her growth rate beyond what was previously possible for humans that had to train their bodies regularly was that she was not among the human races and was a monster.

Her body could consume more things than what humans could without suffering from any major side effects and the body of a monster was far more adaptive than a humans.

While most of the population of humans were working hard to balance their body and energy through tough training, her body was being tempered and strengthened when she completed some circulations of her refinement method.

It was much too important for humans to be able to balance their mind, body and spirit to be able to smoothly progress through the realms of power but it was very easy for them to progress further in one area which would create an imbalance.

Once higher realms were reached, it would be more difficult to break through the main barriers of the realms if the problem still remained.

People that used many resources to boost their own Aether Energy but did not put in a larger amount of effort in training their body would find that they were unable to later make progress in their training while others that may have worked hard training would have been able to surpass them.

Inis did not need to put in those kind of efforts since she had the best of both advantages from humans and the other species.

The natural body strengthening that they gained as their energy increased and they broke through realms was combined with an energy circulation and refinement method that only helped to speed up the process of improvement to her body.

It allowed her to grow closer to breaking through to the secondary realm of Aether Energy cultivation to become a second grade monster.

Eight days were what it took to reach that stage and that was what was so terrifying about her rate of growth, anyone that would be made aware of it would be filled with a large amount of envy.

Most creatures would have needed time to fully absorb the energy to raise their power and to strengthen their body while humans would have their own methods to absorb it at a faster pace but even the best genius in the world that had a lot of resources could not achieve such a fast speed of growth.

If they tried to do so and succeeded then there would be problems that could have been caused from rushing the refinement process and it would still let their foundation be weaker than others.

Unlike humans and other monsters, she and the other Gremlins were able to take in more potent forms of energy or more of it with less side effects without harming herself by doing so, adding the method of refinement with the greater storage capacity on top of her bodies natural growth along with her power made her growth in power much faster with less setbacks.

If she did actually underestimate her bodies limitations and had eaten something beyond her capabilities, there was still the option to use her reproduction ability to expel the excess energy that was inside of her.

Inis did not have to worry about those problems but she was still very careful about how she progressed since she was still new to growing her power that way and did not wish to rush things any further.

Her energy was as powerful and as pure as it could possibly get and any excess energy that had threatened to push her over to the next realm was expelled by using it towards creating more cocoons.

All that was needed was a little more rest and continued use of her circulation method to let her body catch up to her level of power.

The outside world was still a great mystery to her so Inis was not aware of what kind of great achievements she had already made that could leave the rest of the world in shock.

A tiny terror was born and eight days later, it had drawn closer to becoming a second grade monster so naturally many would be alarmed about it and would be both envious and fearful upon hearing the news.
