Day Eleven

It was day eleven of the new life of Inis and she had been able to train in peace without being bothered by others or had to face any new dangers.

When she needed to eat, she ate.

When she needed to train, she trained.

When she needed to produce a new cocoon, she released one or two.

When she needed to take a break, she took a break.

When the newborns were born, she found time to greet them into the world.

There were times when simply sitting there using her energy circulation method was not enough to sustain her so she had to occasionally tend to her daily needs before returning back to her training.

If there was a state where there was no need to eat and other things then Inis was not anywhere close to it so she would not be able to lock herself up and train all day every day.

The peace that she had was something that she made use of the best that she could before more challenges came for her.

Inis was seated in a meditative pose and continued to refine her body but she could feel that the effects were slowly weakening to the point that her body was barely improving anymore.

She could feel that she was growing close to her bodies limit to how much it could be improved so there was not much time left before she would have to move past her current state.

Another hour had passed in that state as her body continued to be washed and tempered using her Aether Energy.

Every part of her body had stopped feeling the effects and no longer improved or adapted to her current energy levels so it had become clear that she had reached her limit.

Inis stood up and started searching through the bags that were stacked to the side of the room. "Where is it?"

She searched around before a stone had appeared in her hand which was brought back over to where she had sat previously.

There was a glow in her eyes as she stared at the stone then she lifted it up and dropped it into her mouth.

It was caught in her mouth and it was crunched down by her sharp teeth until it was turned into much smaller fragments.

The fragments were chewed up until she finally swallowed some of them and closed her eyes.

Crunch.

Crunch. Crunch.

The noise of her chewing on the stone was not too loud but it would be slightly distracting to anyone nearby but Inis had been able to start circulating her Aether Energy once again.

The Aether Energy spread out around her body and started to pick up the energy that was not refined and had come from the stone which her body had recently taken in but had yet to make a part of her own energy.

The foreign energy from the stone got swept up within the Aether Energy that circulated through her body and was slowly being refined.

Her energy was already at the peak of her current realm and she had reached the limit to how much her body could improve in that realm so her energy was gradually reaching its limits and was pushing against an invisible barrier.

The energy circulation method had increased its amount of circulations and the speed that it was growing, the energy in the central part of her body bad kept rotating as if it was accepting the energy from one way and was sending some to another path way.

Her energy was in a state that could only be described as being in a gaseous state and that gas had started to rotate more frequently as more energy had passed through the central location where the energy was stored.

The more stable circulations and energy that had built up had further helped to increase the regular rotation of the energy.

That rotation was further guided and pushed into a state where the rotation had built up and travelled towards the middle to form a tiny vortex.

The vortex had started to slowly stabilise and looked like it had started to move on its own accord but it had suddenly moved a little before collapsing.

Inis was paying a lot of attention towards the energy movements in her body so she had caught on to how she would achieve a breakthrough.

She may have failed the first time but she had learned from that failure so she closed her eyes once again then tried again while making sure that she had enough energy for her next attempt.

Once she had tried again, it took a little time but she was pleased that she had succeeded and the vortex had formed.

The speed that it moved was not too fast or too slow and it was very stable as it continued to move in the same direction without her guidance.

As she made use of her energy circulation method, the vortex seemed to slightly pick up its speed of rotation to aid in refining of her Aether Energy or sending it through her body at a faster speed than before.

The way that she could make use of her Aether Energy seemed a lot simpler than before and there was a qualitative change that she started to undergo which was the same experience that all creatures underwent once they evolved from a grade one monster to a grade two and above.

Inis could feel that she needed a little time to rest up and adjust to the changes she was undergoing but all of it would help to increase her current physical abilities and would provide her with a means to improve herself further after using some other resources.

She had a light meal before entering a light sleep in her room but her sleep did not last too long before she was woken up someone stepping inside the room.
