It was true that from the information gathered from Xeni, there was still a major threat that lingered.
The safe period obtained along with the changes brought by the ending of the dungeons on Earth would just be a minor part of everything taking place allowing for those on Earth to prepare for the rest of the incoming dangers.
The safe period would not last forever and it could be very likely that they could begin to appear at any time in the future.
If the previous scale of the threat was just limited to Earth that had to be dealt with then the rest of it was on a much larger scale to the point that it could cover the entire galaxy, universe or an even much wider scale than that.
While Earth was gaining their own powerful figures during the safe period, it was likely that there were some planets out in space that had already been completely taken over by the dungeons and those that inhabited them.
If it was even worse than that then they may have already been completely claimed by the dungeons in order to use them against those that remained.
The odds were highly against Earth when there had been no progress towards the many races on Earth to come together for the same cause.
If it continued that way then those of Earth would become easy prey for the remaining dungeons.
Due to there being very few human settlements that actually had been welcoming to the other races or had a presence where all the races lived together as a large community, there was a need to look in other places.
As Xeni and Inis talked through the night before falling to sleep, the time passed again allowing for them to wake up to a new day.
There were several unallied clans of different intelligent races who were known to be a part of their own tribes and communities that lived on the mountains and in the forests within their own territories but they were usually quite vigilant towards outsiders.
Xeni had heard news about there being a smaller settlement much further away from the human settlements which were made up of several intelligent races who had banded together for survival.
She did not know how to get there but perhaps someone else would know if they were someone who had been there before or had more knowledge about it.
After waking up, Inis went on to help the Gremlins train themselves a little more as she started to ponder her current situation. 'The amount of Aether Energy provided from eating anything stronger than me or equal will be something difficult to gain the higher I get.
It is not like I get high amounts of Aether Energy from eating them anyways unless the gap in power is great. This means that the higher power I obtain, the amount of others who are at a similar realm to me will lessen greatly so I cannot rely on eating them.'
She thought that it would be a waste just to eat anyone and anything just to gain a tiny boost in Aether Energy.
If she did that then by the time she and the other Gremlins were able to raise their own powers to a greater Realm, the amount of others that could actually stand on a similar level would have already been killed by her.
Rather than waging war on all powerful beings for the sake of such gains in power, there was still potential in trying to bring them over to her side just like Xeni.
Eating others had already been a less efficient method of gaining Aether Energy and there already existed many more resources in the world that were of a much greater quality.
If more resources of that nature could be obtained then it would not be all that difficult to raise her own power even higher while supporting the growth of those around her.
The main issue was finding such a location that had those resources or to find a place that traded them.
After entering the second realm of Aether Energy Realms, it had become slightly clearer that it would require much more energy of a greater quality to be able to rise in each level of every realm the higher she went.
There was some reasonable suspicion that the mining area she had visited before and the blueprints obtained could potentially be just what she was looking for.
The main issue with that was that it involved the interests of others who she did not know about and that they could retaliate if their interests were disrupted by her.
If she did not know who was behind such an operation then she could not make a move alone especially when she did not have a solid backing of her own, enough power of her own or enough allies to stand by her side during times of danger.
The amount of Gremlins at her disposal was not enough to overcome bigger threats and that was just the beginning.
The Variant Gremlins under her command may have gained some advantages over normal Gremlins but they could still be classed as the lowest grade of species in terms of power, the abilities they possessed and their overall combat capabilities.
When confronted with much stronger powers or advanced technologies, her Variant Gremlins were very likely going to lose.
Their biggest advantage was to be able to create more of their own kind quickly allowing for them to raise their numbers higher which would make them a much larger threat.
If there was not enough time given to raise a large enough number before going into battle then it would be a waste of time to raise them to their current capabilities and numbers only to lose many of them in battle.
If those numbers and power could not be replaced quickly then that would be quite dangerous for any time that any danger did come for Inis and the others.
