Night Thirteen #10

From the details provided by the system before it had disappeared there was one major concern that came up again which made her frustrated.

There were so many races and species that came from the dungeons and appeared on earth.

Each one had been given another chance at life but they would have been left deeply disoriented and traumatised by their experiences that they faced in the dungeons.

They would have had a very difficult time getting used to the new environment and being free once more.

They would have been under constant aggression and orders as they experienced hellish torture constantly as they kept dying and resurrecting due to the unknown entity that was the dungeon.

Many would be unable to turn off that aggression just because they escaped the control of the dungeons.

Even if the humans were able to take the time to form some relationships with other races, not all of those who had been under the control of the dungeons could be able to stand pairing up with the humans of Earth.

There would be several that would find it very difficult to ally with those they had been enemies with previously.

If there was ever a time that the dungeons had been defeated before then some would have already experienced a time of peace or their ancestors may have during that time.

If the many races and the human settlements could not keep united then it was likely history would repeat itself after the safe period was over.

There could be some information about how other worlds or dimensions came to adjust after they defeated the threat of the dungeons and coped after the save period.

Unfortunately no such information was provided by Xeni since she was not aware of such details.

If there was anything that had provided a clue from the system then it was that the threat of the dungeons had not ended yet.

Many races may have arrived on Earth and many kinds of new resources from other worlds may have come with them that could help Earth prepare for the incoming threat but it was all useless if everyone was too divided and failed to overcome the next threat.

It was like the assistance from the system had helped to overcome the initial threat when humans did not possess the power to defeat the dungeons.

Earth was unsuited to protect itself from beings from far more powerful dimensions.

No matter how powerful an existence, power was not always unlimited.

There needed to be someone form of rules involved in what was taking place.

The dungeons were a way of swallowing up many dimensions and hoarding everything together while being used endlessly to gain even more.

The dungeon itself or whatever existence behind it that was in control could not make a move personally due to restrictions or simply did feel the need to do so since it had so many pawns to make use of.

There may have been other dimensions that thought they had overcome the threat and gained all kinds of rewards like their world transforming and gaining a new form of energy along with new races and resources which could help them rebuild.

Whatever the dungeon lost could be reclaimed so long as those who were free from its grasp believed the threat was over and were unable to stay united.

That was where humanity had failed from the very beginning.

They believed that the threat was finally over and chose to backstab their allies for the sake of their own selfishness and greed.

Inis couldn't help but curse their shortsightedness. 'So not only are we on a short timer and need to unite against a great threat but I still need to get my revenge on those who betrayed me and so many others who risked everything to save this world.'

Inis went on to ask Xeni. "What about the so called heroes? Are there any others in the world that need to be known?"

The world had changed so much so there was going to be a need to know the major powers and influences in order to best understand how to navigate through the various threats and see who could potentially be allies one day.

Xeni said sleepily. "This place is on the corner of most of the human settlements. Any deeper and you will be stepping fully into other territories for other races or less intelligent creatures.

Some heroes died off in the earlier years after they lost their great powers and had to start rebuilding their powers again. Among the survivors who have been able to establish themselves, there is the main hero duo who are more well known.

The strongest shield and fire user are among this world's top powers who have formed one of the greatest human settlements. They married in the earlier years of the new era and their children are those who have a lot of power over that settlement.

Among the strongest clans they would be the most well known due to them having two powerful people united while the other four great human settlements only have one.

There are smaller settlements and groups that can be found but they are not nearly as powerful or have made as big advancements over the many years. If there is anyone powerful or with potential among the humans outside of the larger settlements then they are quite rare.

The others I am aware of is the great black dragon, the demon clans and several others that have stood out and established a great name for themselves in the world. Compared to such great existences.. even my Satyr tribe can be seen as mere insects."

Upon heading some more well known information about the world, Inis was able to think a little more clearly about what could be achieved in the future.

There existed many powerful figures who had risen up in the world claiming great power and influence.

There were some among them that had enough power to be able to wipe out others with great ease.

Such figures were worth considering to partner with or to remove if they were a hinderance to her plans but that was impossible for the current Inis.

From various details that had been provided, Inis was able to guess that two people she had the most hatred towards were among those who had lived and grown into such powerhouses.

Her two closest people were those who betrayed her in the end and after her death, they were living on as such famous figures and established their own big family.

It was enough to make her wish to burn it all to the ground but did not have the power to do so.

Fortunately there were other details that provided some other options in order to try to prepare for the other main concern that was in her mind. 'If I cannot rely on the human race then I will have to be the one to unite those that I can. Gremlins are not enough..'
