An Anormaly

"Success! We did it!"

All the members of the three surviving squads shouted for joy. Of the more than twenty members of the elite group, only seven were left alive, many had died.

"Burst!"

Green smoke rose high in the sky and Rico burst into tears.

The Pixis commander at Rose Wall saw the green flare and couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief, with such an order of battle, the soldiers who risked their lives to fight in a war with little chance of winning, had succeeded.

Armin shouted joyfully, "Looks like they've made it!"

Anka, Gustav and Rita also said to the commander, "The operation really succeeded, for the first time the humans have regained territory from the giants!"

"Victory!"

"We did it!"

"Great victory!"

Shouts of celebration resounded in the Trost district.

Today is an unforgettable day for many of the soldiers of the garrison troops and newly graduated cadets, from the civilian evacuation operation in the morning to the recapture battle in the afternoon, everyone had barely had a break.

On a rooftop not far from the sealed door, Jean rubbed his eyes still in surprise, "Connie, what was Takashi doing just now? How did all those titans die in a matter of minutes?"

He wasn't wondering about the locked door, he was distracted watching Takashi as he fought the titans, but he still had a hard time seeing how the whole battle unfolded

Connie off to the side said, "Looks like Takashi moved like a whirlwind, it was too fast to see clearly."

Looking at the two knives in her hands, Jean frowned, "Spinning like a whirlwind? How are you supposed to spin like that?"

Connie's face was blank and he nodded, "Yeah, I don't think it can spin like that demon bastard did."

The time it took Takashi to eliminate six titans was extremely short, making them doubt what really happened.

In fact, few people were the ones who appreciated Takashi's ultimate skill. Many were busy protecting their lives, but for those who could see it, they called it the demon of blades.

After the door was sealed, Takashi sighed with relief. He had done many important things today, but he still couldn't save many people who were under his command.

Sasha was the first to get to where Takashi was, as she got down she looked at her friend with concern and said, "Takashi, are you okay? We all saw how you took out six titans so fast, unbelievable."

"Sasha, what are you doing in this place?" Takashi was surprised to see how far Sasha had come.

"She went crazy and came all the way here to see if you were okay, we had no choice but to follow her." Ymir said with a calm smile.

"Looks like the operation was a success, we should start evacuating." Christa arrived next to the group and said with certainty.

"Yes, things were very hectic, we should get back with the rest of the elite soldiers." Takashi agreed, today they had lost no matter what victory looked like.

On the other side, the operation to seal the gate was over. However, the fighting had not yet stopped. Mikasa and the other elite soldiers were fighting a titan that had sneaked in from the left. Naturally, no one had time to celebrate the success of this operation, many of the soldiers were now fleeing for their lives.

After eliminating the titan, Mikasa reached over to pull Eren out. "Mikasa, how is Eren?" Rico asked in a voice full of pressure.

"It's too hot, his body is still attached to the titan's body. We must get him out of here and back to the wall as soon as possible" Mikasa was trying to get Eren out from inside the titan.

"We must cut him." Rico said with a serious expression.

"What?" Mikasa was surprised. "Don't do it, please wait."

However, there was no time to wait, with the titans slowly surrounding everyone it was too dangerous.

"Slap!"

Rico cut the flesh still attached to the titan's body and Eren was released.

"Alright, time to get out of here." Just as Rico was about to reorganize everyone, a huge roar was heard in the distance.

"GRHAA!"

"What the hell is that roar?"

...

About ten minutes ago.

Bertholdt and Reiner discovered that Marco had heard them, then inevitably they had to silence him otherwise they would be exposed.

Now, Bertholdt was alert to the surroundings, Reiner pressed Marco against the roof of a building.

"Reiner, is this another one of your jokes?" Marco was sweating coldly and looked at his two companions with despair.

"No, Marco, you're very perceptive..." Reiner pressed Marco against the ceiling and told Annie who had just arrived, "Quick, Marco overheard our conversation, he must die, remove the three dimensional maneuvering equipment."

"That's not funny, asshole." Annie looked depressed and with tears in her eyes asked, "Why me? Obviously it was you two who screwed up, let Bertholdt do it."

Reiner's expression was a bit grim, "It's you who should do it, Berthold and I have killed a lot of people, our hands are dirty now! It's your turn, your father is still waiting for you to come back!"

"We can't stand still, we have to make sure Eren doesn't get eaten, you have to take care of it." Reiner warned, "Also make sure Takashi is taken out, we can't risk it."

Marco breaks free from Reiner's hand and warns, "Damn you, just wait and see, Takashi will cut you all to pieces."

"This war has barely begun, we will make sure everyone pays for their sins. I don't know what their intentions are in killing people, but I'm sure we will get revenge one day." Marco, who was a quiet boy, looked with furious eyes at Annie and the others.

Hands shaking slightly, Annie turned her head away, not daring to look at Marco. She reached out and took the three-dimensional maneuvering equipment from Marco.

The three of them left Marco without his equipment and left.

"Wait and see you damned demons, you won't get away with this, humanity will win and someday we will have our revenge." Seeing death up close, Marco lamented for being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Marco cried angrily and lay down on the roof, then was carried away by a titan who bit off half of his head.

"Why...why are they eating Marco?" Reiner, who was not far away, looked up in a daze and burst into tears.

Reiner was beginning to develop mental problems. Annie didn't know that. So Bertholdt looked at Annie and said, "You must see to it that Eren doesn't get eaten, it will be our only way out of this place if we can't complete our mission."

"Whoosh!"

Suddenly, Reiner flew out with the three-dimensional maneuvering equipment heading straight for the titan.

"Wait, Reiner, you..." Bertholdt, who had reacted, shouted at Reiner.

"Slashh!"

Reiner cut the back of the titan's neck that was eating Marco. The titan did not notice Reiner at all. After being cut, it fell to the ground with a thud and Marco's half-eaten body also fell to the ground.

The titan began to steam, but Reiner did not stop, slashing the titan again and again. "Damn titans, they ate Marco, how dare they."

Annie looked at Reiner in disbelief, then burst into tears and turned away, making her sick to see such an irrational attitude.

Now, if she wanted to make this all worthwhile, she should do something so that Eren would survive and have at least something to go home to.

Berthold was sitting on the roof, holding his head in his hands, looking helpless, he was lost and didn't know what to do.

The story is quite simple, an honest man named Reiner went mad.

After seeing the successful signal flare, Commander Pixis on the city wall immediately ordered, "Go, go back with the vanguard class!"

"Yes!" Captain Kitz took the order.

The gate had been locked, meaning that the titans outside the wall could not enter, and the titans trapped in the Trost area could slowly clear out.

However, at that moment, a burst of smoke looked at the corner of the Trost district drawing the attention of all the soldiers on the walls.

At that moment an anomaly had emerged in the operation, a titan that had not been seen by mankind appeared.

"For my father and victory, I will return in glory." Annie muttered with a determined expression.

...

In the distance, Captain Levi rode swiftly back towards the Trost district.

With a serious expression, he thought of his older sister who had taken care of him since he was a little boy. "Perla, if your son is now a soldier, I will make sure he survives."

"Soldiers, quite possibly the Trost district wall has been breached by the titans, we will move accordingly." Shouted the Scouting corps commander.

"Yes, sir!"
