"I agree, how could a child kill two grown men? He must be a demon off the wall!"　 

"If he's a monster, maybe his friend is a titan too!" 

"Yes, he must be executed as soon as possible!" 

Darius Zackly looked at the recovery operation report in his hand and patted the table, "Silence! Who is Mikasa Ackerman?" 

Mikasa on the witness stand stepped forward, "It's me." 

Everyone looked at her. 

Darius Zackly looked at Mikasa and asked, "Did that really happen?" 

Mikasa's expression was wavering a bit and she finally said, "Yes, sir." 

"Indeed, they must be soldiers trained by the enemy outside the wall since childhood, no wonder the other titans that have attacked humanity are also monsters hiding in the skin of a human." 

"That's right, otherwise how could a child of no more than ten years old kill those adults?" 

"Maybe she's a titan too!" 

After thinking for a moment, he tapped the table to signal everyone to be quiet, Darius didn't voice his opinion on the matter and continued, "Who is Takashi Ackerman?" 

Takashi stepped forward, "It's me." 

Darius looked at Takashi and pointed out, "The report says that Eren Jaeger remained motionless after he became a titan. You mentioned that you woke him up and stabbed him twice in the back, are there any details you want to share?" 

Takashi kept a cold expression, "Sir, Cadet Eren Jaeger was called many times in his titan form, nothing is certain, but quite possibly that grogginess is because he was exhausted or still unaware of his newly discovered ability." 

"He didn't react to normal words and just by stabbing him I was able to create a stimulation in his body, but my words were what woke Eren up, not an attack action." 

"Eren could only react when I told him about our dream, to kill all the titans and rid humanity of those enemies. It was only then, that he took action on the operation." 

As Takashi finished the words, he stopped talking. He wasn't trying to defend Eren publicly, but tried to be as neutral as possible in his explanation. 

Darius pondered for a moment and suddenly asked, "You have contributed much to this battle, Cadet Takashi Ackerman, tell me your opinion." 

"With all due respect sir, I think your answer is more than obvious." Nile Dok interjected and said, "We can't go by his words, he was the one who also defended Eren when he was about to be killed." 

"Chief Nile Dok, am I asking for your opinion? Cadet Takashi Ackerman, he gave his all on the battlefield being just a newly graduated soldier, I think he deserves that." Dairus Zackly's eyes glanced slightly at Nile Dok and he stopped paying attention to him. 

Everyone present was a little surprised. You should know that there are a lot of senior commanders gathered here. The identity of recruit Takashi Ackerman has nothing to say even if he is an excellent soldier and has a lot of merit in the previous battle.

"Mr. Nile Dok's words have no relation to the true value Eren Jeager can offer humanity, he may even be the first potential Warrior our humanity can have as a final defense against the Titans." 

Not only the gendarmerie members suddenly became agitated, but also the cult members on the ramparts shouted frantically. And before Nile Dok could say anything, a member beside him couldn't help but shout, "Soldier, pay attention to his identity! We've checked him out, his last name is the same as that Ackerman girl."

The gendarmerie soldier looked at Takashi's dead, expressionless face and couldn't help but feel afraid, not knowing what to do for a moment.

"That doesn't take away that Eren is a monster, the safest course of action is to execute him."

Eren looked at everyone and shouted, "Shut up and do as I say!" 

The atmosphere suddenly became chilling, many people at the scene were a little scared and their faces were pale. 

"Point at him!" Said Nile Dok ordered immediately. 

But before the military police team raised their weapons, Captain Levi of the Survey Corps was not known when he appeared at their side. 

"Bang!" 

Levi's side kick smashed into Eren's face, and from the sight of it everyone could feel his pain. Now, Eren's mouth was bleeding and one of his teeth flew out. 

Levi showed no mercy and didn't even stop, punching Eren again and again without hesitation. 

Mikasa on the witness stand was furious, her eyes widened, her expression turned fierce, and she was about to go in to stop him. Armin grabbed her arm and Takashi also held her shoulder.  

Takashi knew very well that this beating was necessary, and his uncle had to do it so that Eren would be sent to the Survey Corps. 

"If you want us to win this trial, you must stay in your place." Takashi warned in a cold voice. 

Lions and tigers were scary if they were free, but once imprisoned, they were nothing more than a spectacle to people. 

Eren can become a titan, which is far more terrifying than any beast in the animal kingdom, everyone must feel that Eren must be bound by a strong and sturdy chain, and Levi can be that chain. 

Even Takashi knows he's not qualified, he currently doesn't have that kind of prestige to replace his uncle.
