At the following day, the two boys woke up feeling very hungry. Mellow got up to prepare breakfast for the two of them while Rem folded the blanket they used last night and put it back on Mellow's bed.

"Rem! Help me set the table!", Mellow shouted from the kitchen. The smell of the sizzling bacon filled the whole house, making the two hungry boys stomachs rumbling with hunger.

"be patient, be patient", Mellow held himself back. He flipped the two thick bacons and cracked four eggs inside the same frying pan.

"Mellow.. ", Rem's head popped from the kitchen entrance. "Is it done yet? ", he asked while enduring himself from drooling over the delicious smell of breakfast.

"hold on... and... done! Alright, let's go"

The two of them rushed out of the kitchen and went straight towards the table in the living room. Mellow served their breakfast while Rem helped with pulling out their chairs. When the two of them finally settled down, they began their breakfast.

"Is it good?", Mellow asked as he watches Rem took a big bite out of the thick bacon. The boy nodded and chewed his food with delight. Seeing Rem eating with such big appetite made him feel happy.

After finishing breakfast, the two of them did the dishes together. Mellow washes them and Rem wiped them with cloth. When Rem was wiping the second plate, he suddenly remembered one of the episode in The Amazing World Of Gumball where Gumball and Darwin got detention in school. He was wondering how was it like to be enrolled in school. He glanced at Mellow and thought, "should I ask Mellow? Will he be mad at me?" He took another glance and saw that Mellow was staring at him.

"You look like you got something in your mind", Mellow said. Rem shook his head and took the glass from Mellow's hand.

"what's the matter? ", he asked. Rem gathered his courage and said, "Mellow.. how does going to school feels like?"

The question caught him off guard.

"School, huh? ", Mellow took a moment before answering. "School is where we learn many things about life and meet new people".

Rem nodded. "You mean, I can also learn more about plants and trees?", he asked with anticipation. "Yes, they teaches those as well", Mellow replied. Rem seemed to be excited. By any chance, was he interested in attending school? Mellow decided to ask.

"Rem, how old are you?", he asked as he holding out the last plate to Rem.

The boy replied, "I'm 9 years old" while taking the plate from Mellow.

Mellow took a fresh cloth to wipe both of his hands. "Do you want to go to school?", he looked at Rem.

"yes!", he said with excitement. "But that is, if you let me", he added with concerned look.

"Well..", Mellow paused. He crouched down and wiped both of Rem's hand using the cloth he used earlier. "If you want, we can go register your name right now", he said with a sweet smile.

Feeling happy, Rem gave Mellow a hug. "Thank you Mellow! You're the best!", he said cheerfully. Mellow could feel that the boy was really excited. He was glad that he could make Rem happy. "You're welcome", he hugged back.

"Now, since we're going to go out.. ", Mellow paused and and lifted Rem up against his left shoulder. It made the poor boy startled. "Woah! Mellow!", the boy exclaimed. Mellow let out a laugh and stroke the boy's head. "Let's go shower!" he said playfully as the two of them entered the bathroom.
