The three of them paid their respect at the old woman's late husband's grave before returning home. Mellow had led them to the nearest shortcut to the old woman's house.

"You're amazing Mellow, how can you remember which path that we came from?", Rem questioned while walking side by side with the old woman.

"Hm? Oh, I just simply memorised how many steps that I took", he answered. The young boy looked at him with confusion. Counting steps while walking? The old woman suddenly laughed and said, "Rem, you might haven't know but Mellow is the type of person who gets lost easily"

Hearing this made Mellow turned red. "Hey! That's not true.. ", the woman cut him off by continuing, "Did you know, Rem? One time, he got lost inside my house. When I found him, he was sulking like a child inside the living room", she said teasingly.

This was getting embarrassing. "That's because your house is too big, of course I'd get lost!", he stood up for himself. Mellow and the old woman continued to talk about Mellow's other ways to not get lost.

On the other hand, Rem was imagining how Mellow had sulked. Was he the type that cries when sulking? Or the type that stays silent? Rem imagined Mellow sulking while purposely letting himself being spoiled. The thought of it made Rem giggled. Soon, they finally reached to the end of the forest. The warm bright sunlight greeted them.

"By the way, where are you two headed?", asked the old woman who was noticing the two boys dressed up smarter than usual. Mellow replied, "we're going to register Rem in school"

The old woman was surprised. To think that Mellow even planning on enrolling Rem to school made her feel relieved. It seems like Mellow took his responsibility as Rem's guardian seriously.

"Oh yeah, now that you've mentioned it, Melloriew", he looked at Mellow. "Come with me, and Rem", she turned to the boy. "you can sit down here and play with Paste", she said while pointing the table nearby with Paste on top of it. Rem nodded and went on playing with the brown fur cat.

The old woman entered her house and Mellow followed suit. She went inside her room and came back a few minutes later with a few pieces of documents in her hands. "This is for Remon's identification. You will need that for his registration, right? Here", she handed the documents to Mellow. He went through the documents and something caught his eyes. It was Rem's full name that was written, "Remon Vemonia"

"Vemonia?", he questioned the old woman. She nodded and answered, "I put my first name since he's my grandson"

Mellow nodded. It was the first time he knew the old woman's name. No wonder he was asked to call her as Grandma Ve during their first meeting. "Now then, shall we head out?"

The two of them got out of the house. Rem heard their footsteps and rushed towards them with Paste in his arms. Mellow took a glance at his watch. It was 1.32 p.m. They have to go now before the school office closes.

The two of them said goodbye to the old woman and left.
