"Mellow?", Rem asked as he tugged Mellow's right sleeve.

"yes? what's wrong?", he replied.

Rem asked about what was inside the tote bag that he was carrying, which Mellow responded, "these are the documents that we'll need for your school register"

The tote bag was given by the old woman to put Rem's documents so that it's easier to carry.

The boy nodded and asked, "Mellow, how was your school time felt like? Did you had fun? Did you have many friends?"

Mellow took a moment before answering.

"hmm.. well it was enjoyable and yes, I had a few friends"

The two of them kept on walking. "Friends..were they even considered as friends?", Mellow thought about what he had said. Truth to be told, Mellow had never been interested in something other than gardening. He always feels that having a bond with someone was tiring. The friends that he mentioned to Rem was his classmates throughout his school years. Although, did he missed the fun times with his classmates? He would be lying if he said he didn't.

"Mellow, is that the school?", Ren tugged his right hand as the C. Junior High came into view. A few family passed by them and went through the school gate. Perhaps they were also registering their children to school. As the two of them about to reach the school gate, Mellow examined the tall white iron gate from 7 years ago which was now covered with thick rust. On the wall next to the gate was the school emblem, which had the letter capital C on the middle.

"it's still the same" Mellow muttered to himself. He could feel his eyes watering.

"Mellow? Are you okay? ", asked Rem with concern.

Mellow rubbed his eyes and took a deep breath. "fuh..Yeah, I'm alright. Come on, let's go inside", he took Rem's hand and the two of them rushed inside the school.

A man with a goatee wearing black sunglasses and an orange neon vest was sweeping some leaves on the ground when all of a sudden, two people ran passed him while giggling and laughing. It was Mellow and Rem. Startled, the man shouted, "Hey! No running at the school ground!"

Mellow replied, "Sorry George! Good to see you too!" and ran off to the faculty office with Rem, who was enjoying every bit of Mellow's childish acts. "Ah, Be careful Mellow!", Rem alerted Mellow as he was about to trip.

The poor man was speechless. "Mellow.. Mellow?", the man wondered. The name sounded so familiar but he didn't recognised him one bit. He took a quick break and wandered off to the janitor room.

Mellow and Rem took the stairs to get to the faculty office. As Mellow was about to reach for the faculty doorknob, the door had suddenly got pulled from the other side, making him lost his balance and fell on top of the other person.

"Mellow!", Rem yelled as he rushed over to the Mellow and helped him up. "Thanks, Rem", said Mellow as Rem pulled his arm for support. The two of them turned towards the man that Mellow had fell on.

"arghh... my neck", the man cried out while placing both of his hands behind his neck. Rem thought that he looked painful.

"excuse me, are you okay?"

The man looked up and faced Mellow, who was holding his right hand out to get the man up. "black fluffy hair.... hazel silver eyes... Mellow?"

Mellow stared at the man intently as if was to remember someone. "oh, Iory?", he said with a side smile.

"Yup, it is you!", Iory said cheerfully and took Mellow's hand to get himself up. Rem helped him by pushing his back as support.
