After Amara, King, and Disislava got away from her parents, they decided to try to enjoy themselves. Though in truth, Amara wanted to get away from her parents as they were beyond irritating.
They meant well, but their meddling was infuriating. This small event changed her mind about staying behind as she was planning on heading out to the Forbidden Realm on her own in a day or two.
How long she stayed out there depending on some things, but it was time to bring out her Desolating Gear for real. Disislava noticed the thoughts running through her student's mind making her sigh.
"So you are going to run away?"
Amara nodded.
"For a small amount of time. The Underworld is forever expanding and the Forbidden Realm is beyond dangerous. A perfect place for me and King."
She sighed.
"I expected this from you. How long do you plan to stay out there?"
"As long as is needed which might be a few years or less. If need be I can talk to Azazel to take me in for a time as I need to get away from this Noble bullshit. I could never stand Nobles which is why I loved to just stand around like a statue before.
No one bothered me at all when I was a statue. Well, no use reminiscing. It's time to eat. I am starved."
Disislava smiled as she followed King and Amara to the dinning room. It was a massive hall that would feed hundreds of guests, but for now, it would just go into feeding her and King.
The chefs got her some dishes ready in a flash as they remembered her ravenous appetite. Disislava did not touch any of the dishes as this homunculus's body has no taste buds or even a stomach. It was made just to contain that sliver of her soul and some magic so she could be with Draven.
As such she just watched her student as she stuffed her face. Though watching King shape his arms into something more humanoid so he could actually eat with dignity was not nice to look at.
"So Amara, let's talk about the power of Murder you hold. Be'lakor and you never spoke about what it took for you to learn it."
Amara swallowed the food that was in her mouth before she spoke.
"The power of Murder works with the Concept of Murder which is an aspect of Death. Every time you kill a being, you drain a portion of its strength for your next blow. At the same time, you also absorb a part of their power, which is a good reason for my power. As long as I kill things, I keep growing in power without end.
Abyssal creatures are powerful and my sword always carried part of their power into the next swing. I even got to keep a part of that power and this body is part Abyssal now along with my soul. When I finally awaken the Power of Murder, I will truly regain my former might."
Disislava wanted Amara to give up that power, but she held her tongue. If Amara believed it was needed, she would hold herself back.
"What will it take?"
"Murder. I got to kill which I will do in the Forbidden Realm. There are powerful creatures and endless waves of Demonic Beasts I can use to push both my Dragon Heart and Murder. However, before that, I need to awaken the Blessing of Catalina.
This Devil body I got is perfect, but it is weak to Light and Holy Magic. Through her blessing of Life, I will remove both weaknesses and have a way to increase my resistance against the Dark Emotions of Abyssals, Dragons, Devils, and Demons.
I plan to fuse all 4 into my Dragon Heart when it fully matures because, at the moment, I need to fight more."
Disislava nodded.
"I see, what about the blessing of the World Tree that King has at the moment?"
Amara smiled.
"When he finishes refining it to work with Abyssals, I will have him send me a shard of it so I can also fully mature my own. I will fuse that into my Dragon Heart as well, but first I need my Dragon Heart to fully mature.
Once that is done, I will once again become almost undying like I was in the past. However, the most important is my Desolation Magic. I can feel it, I did not lose it. I just don't have the power to bring it out."
"And your sword and armor?"
Amara pointed at her head.
"Still in my soul fully recovered."
Hearing that she did not lose them was perfect.
"Good, I would not want those things to get lost. So, you got your plan? What about the Abyss?"
Amara and King looked at each other before they grinned.
"We both plan to return to the Abyss. Once my Abyssal Dragon heart is complete, I plan to absorb a large amount of Abyssal Essence to power up my heart. King will also have to do the same as his current body is not perfect.
He needs to take over the Abyss or else another ruler will just rise up again. And I am the only one who can permanently destroy the creatures of the Abyss. Our fight left it weakened, but not forever."
Disislava nodded.
"Well then, you better hurry up."
Just then Amara's whole body began to shake. Disislava did not know what was going on, but when she saw Amara's face she saw pure revulsion. King began to growl like a beast while Amara grit her teeth so hard they looked like they would break.
"He is here."
Disislava was confused.
"Who is here?"
Amara looked over to the entrance of the dining room and saw a 14-year-old blonde boy.
"Riser Phenex, my annoying stalker."
King jumped out of his chair and he began to grow in size and ferocity. He grew wings, and 2 more pairs of legs, his eyes covered his whole face, and his teeth become massive.
Amara got out of her seat and her arms were covered in the black energy of Destruction. Her understanding of Desolation Magic allowed her to push her Energy of Destruction to new limits.
"You better not be here to ask again Riser?"
King roared at Riser, which caused the chefs to begin to shake. However, Riser kept walking forward. He was blushing as he looked at Amara, not caring that the power in her arms could kill him or King himself.
Amara raised her hand and blasted a massive attack of Power of Destruction toward him. He kept walking as the attack split in two and hit either side of him. Large chunks of the ground were destroyed, but he just kept walking.
Amara wanted to scare Riser away, but his blush got even bigger, and now King spread his wings as a black flame appeared in his mouth. Fire fueled by the Abyss and he was about to use it on Riser who now stood not far from them. He got on one knee and placed his hands on his chest.
"Marry me, my love."
Amara looked behind her at King.
"You do it."
King grinned and pulled back his front paw before he kicked Riser away like a soccer ball. He smashed through the roof, and out of the manor before he flew high in the sky. Disislava held her face thinking it was both cute and weird.
"How do you know that boy?"
Amara shook her head as she and King went back to normal.
"His name is Riser Phenex. He wants to get engaged with me, but the first time he asked I punched him so hard I broke all the bones in his head making him look like a smashed pumpkin. Sadly he is descended from a Phoneix or something, so the damage did not stick, but every time I see him he gets punched.
Now he is a weird masochist who is obsessed with me hurting him. Gross."
Disislava nodded.
"Very. Anyway, want to finish your meal?"
Amara shook her head.
"My appetite is now ruined. I am leaving."
When Amara walked out of the dining room she saw Riser's parents shaking their heads. Lord Phenex looked at Amara and smiled.
"Sorry about that."
"You should be. Get him under control or I will kill him."
She and King left while Disislava walked after her. She looked at the parents or Riser with a shine in her eyes.
"Why don't you two help me with some tests."
Both of their eyes turned bright blue before they nodded with blank looks on their faces.
"Whatever you need."
Amara smiled at that.
'Spirit Magic. Still has tyrannical as ever.'
"Have fun."
Disislava smiled.
"I will. I just want to know more about them. I will even help them as compensation."
Amara did not care so she and King left. She wondered how far King sent Riser, but it was probably not enough. As such, she wanted to avoid him for the rest of the day for her own sake.
While Disislava did her own experiments, Amara looked down at her body and sent a wave of Demon Mana through the dress. In an instant, the dress instantly was replaced by her armor and her usual clothing that was in her room.
She gave a sigh of relief as the conformable feeling of the cold smooth beast leather over metal plates covered her.
"Dresses are not for me."
She placed her helmet on her face before her she walked off with King to a more secluded spot of the Manor. Here the both of them sat under a big tree that overlooked the Gremory Manor.
Guests kept arriving for the birthday of Rias which was a big event as Rias was the heir of the Gremory as she had stepped down. Many wanted to engage their sons with her or Amara, but Amara was far too strong for that.
She stood up and pulled out something from it. It was the card that Azazel had given her when she met him. She sent her mana inside of it causing a projection of Azazel to appear in front of her.
When he saw Amara and King he smiled.
"Amara, what can I do for you?"
"Azazel, I have a favor I want to ask of you."
Azazel now wondered what the daughter of Sirzechs would want from him.
"What is it?"
Amara asked what she needed.
"Can you let me join Grigori? In all honesty, I feel that staying in the Gremory clan for the time being will hold me back. I feel that Grigori will be a better fit for me for the next few years."
Azazel thought about it because if Sirzechs learned of this it could start a war. But if his own daughter did not want to stay then it had to be for a reason.
"I can do that. But why are you trying to leave?"
"A clash of interests. I was born a Noble, but I can't stand Nobles and their bullshit. The events of today made me realize that and I much rather just be independent from my clan. In all honesty, I was never a real Gremory, to begin with for reasons."
Azazel nodded.
"I get it. Just put this card on the ground and send as more mana into it. It will activate a one-time use Teleport circle that will take you to my office."
The hologram of Azazel ended as Amara put the card on the ground. She began to send her mana into it in droves until a green teleport circle appeared. King jumped on her shoulder in his small form as she stepped into the middle of the circle.
Before she left she connected her mind to her master, Disislava.
'Master, I will be leaving the Gremory clan. Join me when you are done with your exploration.'
'I will. Someone has to keep an eye on you.'
With that said, Amara activated the teleport circle and in a flash of green, they vanished from sight. The card that Azazel gave her burst into flames destroying any evidence of the use of it.
When Amara and King reappeared they were inside the office of Azazel. He sat behind a desk going over paperwork. He normally left this to Shemhazai, but he was made to do it this time around.
Amara reached up and removed her helmet causing her unique hair to spill out. She looked at Azazel with a smile.
"Thanks for this Azazel."
He nodded as he stamped some paperwork.
"No problem. As I said before, I dislike war. I feel it is such a useless thing so I don't mind doing you a favor. But, what made you leave your family?"
Amara sighed.
"Well, today is the birthday of Rias, my aunt. She is 5 years old at the moment, and I had just met my parents after years of being abroad in training. The issue started when Rias pissed off a magic camel and it started to chase her.
I started to laugh as it was hilarious, and my parents tried to punish me with house arrest. Then some other Noble bullshit that culminated in me running away. Make sense?"
Azazel nodded.
"My goodness, that sounds dreadful. But being a Noble has always sucked I have to say. Anyways, welcome to Grigori."
Amara sat down on a couch that was in the office as she nodded.
"Do I have to sign a magic contract or something?"
Azazel shook his head.
"No, nothing like that. All you need to do is go on some missions that need some muscle and in exchange, I myself could teach you what I know. And teaching you could give me some experience. You see, I kind of messed up big time and I now have a stepchild to raise and two biological ones on the way."
Amara wondered about that.
"Is that a problem?"
Azazel put down his pen as he sighed.
"No. The issue is that I have no idea how to be a father. When I had my harems, I made sure to always be safe as I did not feel I could properly nurture a child. And then, I go into the human world, and I end up having a one-off fling only to find out I hit the jackpot of pregnancy. Twins."
Amara sighed.
"Now that is a problem. Good luck with that."
Azazel waved her off.
"Tell me about it. Anyway, what do you have planned?"
Amara smiled as she told him her plan.
"Simple, I plan to leave for the Forbidden Realm. I have been wanting to go since the first time I was taken by Souji, but he would not take me again. Now, I plan to head out there and stay there for a while. But if I have your help, I could make use of my time better."
Azazel nodded.
"I will help you. I have some stuff to teach you that could be valuable. I only ask you to help me out with my children's training when they are born."
"Sure. I don't mind. And thanks for taking me in for the time being."
Azazel nodded as she walked toward him and shook his hand.
"No problem. I will have to introduce you to the others, but I got to finish this up."
Amara nodded and sat back down on the couch. She and King began to meditate to let him finish his work.
