Failed abduction

Kyle texted formally,

Good day, senior. Please help me check whether any of these people—Munchen Rogan, male; and Elizabeth Rogan, female—enlisted for the Romans programme. Also, they may have lodged with two of their kids in the campus’s guesthouse.

He sent the pictures of his parents and siblings together with the text to Sophia.

After texting, he did not know what else to do other than wait for her reply. He still felt very anxious. He sat on the couch, and, in anxiety, he waited for Sophia's reply.

Thirty minutes later, Sophia called him.

"Good morning, senior," Kyle answered.

She went straight to business: "I asked a friend. My friend is completely trustworthy. My friend said that the people you listed didn't visit the base."

"What?" Kyle responded, fidgeting.

She said, with an indifferent tone, "I suggest you take the matter to the police if those people mean anything to you."

She cut the line.
