The rain pored and within hours it turned into storms of waves that blocked the barbarian sailing path before they could set sail.

"Dardanos! We can not set sail in this weather it is too risky!" One of the sailors Jason shouted standing at the deport while the rain pushed the waves of the water to hit the ship making it tear apart. "We can set sail at dawn" he added.

"Very well...we shall set sail at dawn, tell the men to head back to base!" Dardanos shouted signaling the men on the ship to come down.

"Too many of our kind have fallen in the hands of humans..I will not watch as our history is destroyed" The hooded man said with a deep coarse voice.

"Do you think I enjoy seeing humans finishing our kind day by day? No I do not" The other man replied...he was normal height and his hair black and messy, his eyes dark red and his skin pale, his body was think with vainy hands.

"It is time we come out...as little as we are, I sense power I have never felt before..The land of sinope has what we want"

"Eros..do not be foolish...The boy is dead and the prophecy will never happen ..Lusting for blood and revenge will only end your trail of vengeance"

The creepy man said as he swiftly disappears into thin air leaving Eros alone in the hall and rage filled his eyes and body and he would do anything to destroy humans and awaken his forefathers from the Valley of desolation.

"I Eros fair..son of the feared deadliest vampire to set foot on this land..I will bring back my kind one way or the other" He spoke to himself...and he knew exactly how he was to do that.

It was not long until one of the villagers came running from outside King Matthews's castle begging for the guards to open the gates inside the castle walls, bearly breathing and stained in blood he rushes inside the castle to find King Matthews and Queen Lilith.

"My lord!!" He rushed inside the hall.

"What is this? Who are you?" The king asked standing up.

"The village!...its...IRS unde attack!...a monster...a..a vampire...he did something to the villagers" The man shouted trying to regain his breath to speak.

"What?" The king and queen gasped I'm shock.

"I swear my lord...the village is.."

Before the man could talk the guards barged into the hall.."My lord! The village is on fire" The soldiers shouted.

"My God!"

"Lilith" The king said holding his wife's hand. "Take our daughter and make sure you are safe...the guards will come with you..keep Iris safe" He spoke and pulled her closer to kiss her pink lips and went with the guards.

"Promise me you will return Matthews" Lilith said looking into the King's eyes.

"I will return my dear..now hurry take our daughter with you"

The queen nodded and rushed out of the hall with a few guards and the king along with and army of soldiers rushed to the village in the blistering rain, their horses running in the muddy ground and are stopped on the way when the burning village came into view.

"There it is!" One of the soldiers shouted.

Before they reached the village they were stopped by strangers running towards them.."It is the villagers!" Skyler shouted.

"No its not them, Those are undead!" The king shouted already the blood thirsty vampires where close, the soldiers near by draw their swords, One of the Vampires leaped towards one of the soldiers in amazing strength and ripped the soldiers head out with just one one hit of the vampire and the man fell out of his horse headlessly.

"God! Kill them! Kill them all!" The king shouted and the soldiers slaughtered the two reckless vampires and proceeded to the village.

They reach the village only to find what seemed like dead bodies and other villagers ripping the death bodies of their flesh for blood until they noticed the army of soldiers approaching they gathered in a group.

Looking blood thirsty at them they gather around the middle of the muddy road.

"Blooood" They mumbled. Their lips dropped of blood and stained from the rain drops.

"Oh goodness" The king gasped as they entered the village.

And as they stood there as a group...a man appeared standing in the middle of the blood thirsty vampires...He was thin and skin pale his eyes were black and his fangs were visible and his long sharp nail that looked like claws.

His clothes were old and rage and his black hair wet from the rain hanged on his shoulders almost blocking his face and his facial features.

"Impossible" The king gasped as they stopped their horses.

"Who are you and what have you done to the villagers?" The king shouted so his voice could be heard in the rain.

The man showed a very mischievous smile at the king only one side of his face was visible. "Oh how wonderful to finally meet the man behind our very extinction" The man laughed softly for a few seconds until he paused again as if trying to get his mind straight again

"The name is lycus Fair...Not that you'd know but my father was once your friend until..you know..the vampire thing" He giggled stupidly.

"Lycus?...Impossible All Vampires were seals forever!" The king shouted.

"Only if you believe and you can achieve your greatest desires..isn't that right Eros?"lycud asked turning his head to his side when Eros appeared standing beside lycus.

"Oh that's right my friend...see when you were busy banishing vampires, we were busy with our own little inventions, see we were not affected by your little spell! We are simply much more than just vampires..we are gods!" Eros shouted.

"Gods who belong in hell!" Skyler shouted angrily his sword at ready..."I will not stand here and watch you destroy us, you fate will end the same way it always had, with behind those mountains!" Skyler chuckled.

The vampire just stood there motionless like a beautiful statue that lifeless. He just smiled as if agreeing with what Skyler was saying to him, he was unbothered at all.

"I wouldn't do that if I was you Skyler..value what you have for when it Is taken you would not regret" Eros said with a slight smile on his face.

"Enough talking!!" Skyler shouted slipping off his horse while he had his sword out. "I will not let you be the death of us!! Not now never"

"Do you really want to gamble with your life? Or take the easy way out of this mess" lycus interfered stepping forward..his voice was calm, gentle and mischievous.

"What do you want?" The king asked standing beside Skyler.

"The barbarians know about your little secret and they are setting sail here by dawn...and your little throne is on the line my king" lycus spoke, his hands in his pockets.

"The throne is no matter to me..but my people will always be under my protection!" Matthews shouted pulling his sword and so did the rest of the soldiers.

The twoan lsughed, the other wiping blood of his mouth."Is that so my king?" Eros asked with a smirk on his face and licked his lips showing his large fangs out. "Then let us dance my king"he smiled and lunged for Skyler and within a second he sent Skyler crashing through the burning huts. The soldiers charged at them including the king and they soon created a protective barrier around the king when the two vampires attacked and the rest of the undead attacked as well.

The vampires broke the barrier in minuets beach so life falling down one by one, none stood a chance or laid a sword on the vampires until Matthews gave th3 signal for retreat. They took Skyler with them, the two vampires did not stop them they let them retreat.

"Let them run. Dead men do tell tales, there is no hope for them now. Just sit brother and watch them fall on their own" lycus laughed and turned around to disappear and his brother followed behind him.

As son as the king reached the palace all gates, doors were shut and the whole palace was under lockdown, soldiers and guards were on all sides of the castle.

"Matthews! What is it? Why is the castle under lockdown and what happened to the village? Is everyone alright?"

The king closed the door to their bedroom chamber and walked restlessly to the bed and sat at the edge sighing out loud.

"Vampires" He said and took a moment and continued. "There's no one left in the but lifeless bodies. They killed every...one"

The queen gasped and quickly looked out the window to see the village on fire, her eyes were instantly filled with tears falling down her cheeks. She felt a lump in her heart and fell on her knees her legs were shaking, her tears fell like a tap of water and she started feeling breathless. Matthews raised his head to find her wife trembling on the floor and without second thought he quickly lifted her up from the floor and placed her on the bed while she cried. "Guards! Guards!" He called out breathlessly and in seconds the guards filled the room.

"My lord?" One of the guards asked.

"Marian! Get Marian in here!" Matthews shouted still holding the queen in his arms while she cried on the be her body was shaking uncontrollably.

" ?!" .

A woman walked in with a black bag in her shoulder and noticed the king and below was the queen in his arms.

His eyes were filled with tears while the queen trembled and cried in shock. She gasped and rushed towards them.

"M-mariam...p-please...help her..I don't know what happened" The king was sobbing in tears.

"ylord..Excuse me while I work on her" Matthews nodded and left the room. Marian quickly too off the Queen's clothes checking her temperature.

Her body was shaking as though she was freezing, the teas flooded her closed eyes. Marian tried everything including giving her water to cooll down but the water just came back her mouth until she stopped shaking. Marian was glad for a moment but noticed that Lilith was not moving at all, she checked her nose and pulwe.

Thats when she realized what had happened. "Someone!! My lord!!" She shouted as she placed both her hands starting to apply pressure on the queen's chest pumping it when the king and two guards stepped in the chamber. Matthews heart dropped at the sight of what was before him. .

"What have you done!!" Matthews shouted his eyes filled with tears and rage and rushed to the bed and pushed Marian off and started doing the same thing Marian did. "Don't you leave me Lilith!..you..you can't..you won't my love" He pumped even harder at the lifeless body his eyes filled with tears and slowly they dropped on the lifeless body below him. He pumped and pumped. "Leave! All of you leave!" Matthews shouted the tears dropping on his mouth. Marian left the room along with the guards behind her, Matthews kept pumping for minuets until he was tired and rested his head on his wife's cheek and cried there.

"I apologize my dear Lilith..oh god spare her life..I beg of you" he cried out..his cries could be heard across the hall. The workers all over the castle stopped to hear his cries silently, to hear his screams and loud sobbings. The queen was gone.

Evan's POV

The next day..the day of the arrival of the barbarians. When they did arrive and witnessed the destruction of the village and the death of the queen. Evans was devastated to hear about the queen. Dardanos put the court meeting on hold to let the king grieve.

"Dardanos..you cannot let him keep the throne, look what he has caused for the palace and the village, what about the queen? We will be doomed if we were foolish enough to let him live"

Evan shouted following Dardanos and the guards to the dungeon.

"Evans, do not forget our culture and I will not listen to your opinion on this" Reaching the dungeon to see the boy.

The dungeon was dark and few fire torches lit on both sides of the walls and when they entered it freaked of dead corpses and rotten flesh that they all had to hold out napkins to their noses.

They reached the end of the dungeon cells on the lft6, the cell was dark and a figure appeared sitting at the corner of the cell on the floor. "How old is the boy?" Dardanos asked one of the guards.

"He's fourteen and a half I think" The guard answered band just as he finished speaking the figure lifted its head and all that could be seen were sparkling blue eyes. The figure stood up and walked towards them

They all stepped back when the boy came closer to the light, his body was pale white and he had no shirt on, he had old scars that healed all over his body and his hair was silky black and rested on his shoulders . he looked a little muscular for a boy of his age and he walked bare foot.

"What do you want?" The boy asked in s husky but gentl voice as he leaned closer to the bars.

"You do not like visitors do you young man?" Evans asked clearly annoyed by his question and walked closer to the boy..."Did you hear about the fiasco your kind did to the village out there to us?" Evans whispered leaned closer to the cell bars too.

"Why should I care? I am locked up in here, its none of my concern now get lost before I make you" The boy replied bearly cracking a smile.

"We are offering you freedom at a price" Dardanos interrupted. Evans quickly turned around puzzled.

"I beg your pardon? What on earth are you saying Dardanos we cannot let this creature out of here, he is no different from them" Evans replied obviously pissed.

"What is the price?" The boys voice interrupted them and they all turned to him.

"You are to fight by our side to the grave" Dardanos said stepping forward.

"Hm.you can't really say to the grave since I am immortal but that sounds about fine" The boy chuckled straightening his posture and added. "Incan consider that on one condition"

"What is that?" Evans asked instantly.

"When this man here...who are you again? Dardanos yes, if you die then our contract is over" the boy smiled eyeing Evans.

"At you crazy? We at not taking that condition" Evans chuckled annoyed and hit the cell bar with his fist

"That is good enough for us young man" Dardanos added.

Eevan turned to him in disbelief. "Are you gear in yourself? He will have your head the moment he walks out of here" Evans shouted.

"No the deal is that the boy will not attempt to kill me by any chance, do we agree?" Dardanos asked looking at the boy.

"That is fair enough Mr Dardanos , sir" he smiled mischievously and looked at Evans then back at Dardanos and they handshaked.

"You will be released tomorrow nightfall"

They all left and Evans was last to leave, he turned around to face the boy " listen here you bloodsucker, I will be watching you and believe me I will kill you myself if you dare try to kill him" He whispered.

"I will be waiting Evans" The boy chuckled and turned around back to his dark corner.His blue eyes went shut.Evans left the dungeon in clear annoyance.

Evans knew that these creatures could never be trusted and he knew one or another he would meet the boy in battle and they would shape their fate.
