"Open the gates!" One of the guards shouted waving his hand.
The Large wooden doors slowly opened for the two horses as they made their way to the palace, the dark mist filled their trail and followed like smoke behind them and as soon as the two horses were inside the palace, the gate was quickly shut and the mist surrounded the outside of the palace that it became darker than it was before.
Skyler and the king came rushing out of the palace to see who it was.
Kristen was already out of her horse while Evans struggled to get off but finally made it to the ground in one peace with the bag that contained the scroll.
"Evans, you made it" Skyler said approaching for a handshake with Evans.
"Twas very simple, tell me next time to be prepared of big clouds chasing us, not something I'd want to experience again" Evans replied stretching his arms.
King Corbin approached the men to meet Evans.
"Greetings young man, Seems we are having much visitors lately ey" The king smiled and shared a handshake with Evans and kristen as they both bowed.
"Thank you for having us my lord" Kristen replied.
"What she said" Evans nodded his head not smiling back at the king.
"Did you get it then?" Skyler asked.
Evans pulled the scroll out of the bag and lifted it with both hands giving it to Skyler who held it the same way and examined it.
"Its bigger and heavier than I had expected" Skyler nodded to himself.
"Mmm certainly so, this will not end well Skyler" The king shook his head.
"Why?" Evans and Skyler both asked at the same time.
"You stole the scroll and brought it here, Tolido might rage war with us and worse look at the clouds, its dark and when there's darkness you know they'll be here soon" Corbin sighed brushing his hair back with his hand.
"Was there another way?" Evans asked raising his eyebrow. "If not then we made a good move" Evans added and passed them heading inside the palace.
Skyler turned to the king. "My lord I dearly apologize for this but it is for the best, I would advice you gather all your villagers inside the castle for safety purposes" Skyler said before turning to leave and signaled Kristen to follow him.
"I'm guessing Evans dragged you from the bar he was in ey?" Skyler asked as the two walked in the hallway.
"No no, I found him laying in an alley, he was stabbed and he lost a lot of blood" Kristen replied with smile.
"Oh? I'm so sorry for the trouble he caused I did tell him to stay out of trouble, but who could stab such a giant man?" Skyler asked looking at Kristen.
"A vampire" Kristen replied.
"I guess they are after us, Don't worry you will be safe here so I suggest you go and take a rest for the time being" Skyler smiled before turning to go back to the library where Lucas could be.
The castle was dark and the fire torches created little light here and there, the dark clouds and the mist surrounding the castle created darkness like never before.
Kristen found her way to her bedroom and decided to bath but dressed the same clothes she was wearing, gowns and dresses weren't her kind of style. She stood at close to the window staring out, it was hard to see anything but fire torches moving around, the gates were open and a group of people came in baggage, it must be the villagers.
There was a knock on the door that startled Kristen, she turned to open the door and found Evans standing in the hallway holding a bottle of wine.
"I apologize for disturbing you, do you know where I can find the library?" Evans asked brushing his hair innocently.
"Strange for you to ask me, I don't know this place Evans but I was heading there anyway so let's go" Kristen replied stepping out and closed the door behind her.
"So should we open it or something?" Skyler asked looking at Lucas and the other librarian who looked younger than Lucas.
"No never open it until necessary" The librarian replied.

"The scroll has left Tolido" Lycus said looking out the window into the dark forest that stood before the building.
"Should we gather the rest of the coven master?" Eros asked looking at the dark figure sitting at the throne.
"No, This is not something we cannot handle therefore the coven will not be necessary...unless you think you are unable to do it" He spoke in smooth and light tone that held pride in his tone and fear, his voice was sweet and calm as if he was whispering, his leg was on top of the other and he was resting his head on his hand and balanced by the black chair he sat on, he stared at Eros his blood red eyes studied him as he smiled not letting his teeth show.
"Of course not master, its just that...I would have liked to have our kind here to witness the fall of the mortals" Eros answered, Lycus was already standing beside Eros when he spoke.
He laughed slightly and slowly stood up walking towards them, and stopped a few meters away, he wore a black fury coat that covered his head down to his feet and only his eyes were visible.
"The coven will only slow me down, We will decide once we awaken my brothers."
"What about the boy?" Lycus asked immediately.
"Nightmare...Our fallen enemy has the boy" The dark figure shook his head. "He will never be one of us therefore find him and rectify your mistakes" He spoke and turned away swiftly disappeared and reappeared right on the throne in the same position he was seated in.
The two men bowed and disappeared into thin air.
