"So this is the plan, fellas," I began.
We all gathered under the mango tree during lunch break to discuss our next move.
"We have to make sure Sir Aresso will see Angel's diary is with me, so he will come and get it."
"Isn't that too dangerous, Ate?" Rox worried.
"Okay, Rox, remember," I told her, "the higher the risk, the greater the return."
Nick side-commented, "You always sound smart. Why can't you be as smart in class?"
My fists itched. If violence wasn't evil, I would've chosen it right at that moment. Instead, I bit my tongue and ignored him.
Simon butted in, "How are we gonna operate the plan?"
"Basic," I confidently said. "I will meet the club later. I'll make sure to place the diary where he can see it. Before that, there's something we have to do."
The three of them had this annoying doubt in their facial expression. They irked me.
"I'll leave the class this afternoon with Rox to find an identical diary."
