A new hope

On an uncharted planet, with Rocky plains spread across the vast field which contained small pools of crystal clear water, dazzling beautifully. The air in this planet wasn't like that of any other planet as it wasn't dense, but very light and the gravitational pull here worked with as that of space.

The various smaller rocks were levitating slightly in the air, while the pools of water also floated up. If a normal human were to step a foot forward, then his body would be going for a big leap.

This planet was so dreamy, as many unimaginable sights and captivating scenes surrounded the planet. A figure in cloak softly treaded the rocky plains with ease, not being affected by the low gravitational force whatsoever.

The figure then reached it's location in little time as in front laid a cave, not waiting the figure went in through the large entrance of the cave making it's way more in. Going deeper into the cave not that far from it's entrance, laid the figure of a male and a female on top of each other.

Walking closer the figure was careful to tread silently more to this strange individuals, looking closer she could see several serious wounds across their bodies.

"What happened to them?" The cloaked figure muttered under her breath, she didn't know what happened except she'd suddenly sensed a portal open without permission, at this location. Curious and worried she'd decided to check it herself, if it was of any need to be worried about. But seeing this scenario now, she didn't know what to say.

"She's a fox!" She exclaimed a bit, excitement filling her eyes when she saw falcon's three tails wailed down. Turning her round, she saw a hole just a bit away from where her heart was.

'She's still alive. How?' This female didn't need an inspection, to see falcon had lost most of her blood from her fatal injuries. If it were to be a normal person, then they would've long died. but surprisingly, this three tailed fox lady was still fighting on.

'She'd die if I don't help her.' Hesitant a bit, she was contemplating if to help this unknown male and female. She had two options either to help Kyle and falcon and take them prisoners, or just leave and let them die.

'I'll be able to handle them if need be.' Finally deciding, she placed both her hands on where the hole was in falcon's chest. Her hands emitted a faint purple light, as energy flowed from her hands to falcon's chest. It didn't take up to 10 seconds, as she then removed her hands revealing falcon's new state.

The hole had completely disappeared without a trace! it wasn't there anymore, and even the wounds on her body had totally disappeared too. Looking over to Kyle, she didn't know why but something was strange about this young man.

"His scars... they mean much more." She uttered, gently grazing her hands over Kyle battle scars. Shaking her head, she tried doing the same thing for Kyle placing her hands on his body transferring the energy, but something unexpected suddenly happened during the process.

"Argh!" Her eyes went wide as she could feel her mana being drained fast by Kyle's body, she wanted to retract her hands but she couldn't as Kyle took her mana. She was on high alert thinking this was a trap, but nothing ever did happen.

After about a minute of serious drainage of the cloaked figure's mana, she could feel her mana was getting very low. She was planning to kill Kyle and falcon since they were still unconscious, but she didn't have to cause Kyle's body had finished absorbing her mana.

"Argh!" She grunted falling to the ground panting heavily, she could feel her body drained of mana. Standing up she looked over at Kyle, suspicious not to go any closer than four feets away.

She saw that the wounds on his body had disappeared which was expected, but something else had changed in him from the first time she saw him. His aura had now changed greatly, and she could even feel great amount of mana, her mana precisely residing in him.

'Should I take them to the palace now?' She thought. If she were to take them to the palace now they would immediately be treated as prisoners, and thrown into the dungeon. But she wanted to get to know their stories first, before she could then decide what to do next with them.

"Just in case.." she took out two glowing blue cuffs from her small bag, then placing it on falcon's wrist while she used telekenisis to place the other on Kyle's wrist.

'Now we wait.' She then went and sat down on a bed rock formed by lava, sitting a few meters from the sleepy duo. There was many thoughts coursing through her head, about where these two were from or what happened to them. She wanted answers, and she would soon get them.

....

"Ahh!" The hooded figure screamed in frustration, she'd been watching them sleep for about 7 hours now. It was getting dark by the second, and she had to return to the palace before nightfall, to avoid any unnecessary panicking.

'I can't just leave now.' She'd already waited this long to receive her answers, and she couldn't just leave now clueless.

'I still have some time.' She decided to wait some more while before she finally left, if they still hadn't woken up. Time flied fast, as she watched as seconds turned into minutes and minutes into hours.

Standing up, she was getting impatient as it was now a bit dark. she didn't need to conjure any light, as the various blue coloured stones lit up in union, illuminating the entire cave going down.

'I'll just come back tomorrow then.' Losing hope she turned round ready to leave, when she heard the scream of one of the certain duo.

"Lilith!" Kyle screamed his eyes abruptly opened as he sat up straight, memories of what just occurred flooded his head causing him to tightly hold his head in pain.

"N-no.." Kyle mumbled softly remorse filled his heart, he was unaware of the strange hooded figure as she stared at him carefully.

"I-i've lost everything." He muttered tears streaming down his eyes. Ever since he met Lilith life changed drastically for him, though it had it's ups and downs he still enjoyed the little times, he got to spend with her.

As an highscholler with no social status at all Kyle never did accomplish anything, but since he met Lilith he'd accomplished so much that he never thought he could. He'd turned into a demon, acquired a harem, defeated and killed bad guys. Hell! he'd even travelled to two planets now.

'Am so useless.' He chuckled gently, with a crazed smile on his lips. The life he lived was dreamy, but it came at a cost and a great one at that. His happiness and fate lied in the hands of one person, and one person alone.

'I couldn't even do anything.' When Kyle saw Lilith in Lucifer's hand he'd wanted to kill him, but he couldn't move his body as his head was slammed to the floor. Nevertheless he struggled, but it was all futile. one look from the devil creeped his soul out, and he was made to forcefully watch as lives were sacrificed for his sake.

"W-why did you all die for me, am so useless~" Kyle sobbed crouching down, placing his head between his legs.

'How could I be so stupid, to think I could have it all.' Kyle bitterly laughed. He a nobody become demon lord, kill Lucifer, with his beautiful women by his side.

"How stupid!"

'He's lost a lot.' She thought to herself, hearing all what Kyle said. She knew he hadn't noticed her presence yet, as he was conjured in drowning in his shame and pain.

Kyle could feel movement a bit away from them, but he wasn't bothered at all. he'd already lost everything that that mattered to him, so his life was just meaningless now.

"Who are you?" The figure was taken aback, as this male suddenly spoke. she didn't know if she could trust him with her name, but there wasn't any reason not to.

"My name-"

"I don't care. Whoever you are please just do me a favour and kill me already, there's nothing to live for anymore." Kyle was so tormented and frustrated, that he didn't even bother to look up at her.

"A-am not going to kill you. my name is Lumia, and I was the one that saved both your lives." She spoke as Kyle just shook his head.

"If you can't kill me, then you're no use to me. I'd better off be dead than alive." Kyle shrugged, not feeling any point to live anymore. He'd already lost a reason to fight, so he was as good as useless.

"What's your problem!" Lumia yelled angrily, annoyed by Kyle's suicidal attitude. "Look I don't know who or what you lost, but that doesn't give you a reason to kill yourself."

"It's my life, so I think it does." Kyle sarcastically said, causing Lumia to get more annoyed.

"If you want to die so badly then here, let me help you." Kyle watched as she shrunk a boulder down to the size of a sharp stick, lifting it in the air she coated with good amount of mana, spinning it furiously in the air with telekenisis.

Stretching her hand out, the coated rock shard shot fast with so much force cutting through the air. Kyle didn't move or dodge, he was so tired of leaving that he wanted death at all cost.

'Bam!'

[Critical hit! User's right heart has been destroyed! Regenerating..]

[Hp: 50/100]

Large chunks of fresh blood spilled out from Kyle's lips, a hole now where his right heart was. gritting his teeth, he struggled through the pain his eyes red from anger.

'A-at least I can die in peace.' He thought. there was nothing to live for anymore, so why not just end everything now?

"Still not changing your mind?" Lumia asked, to which he nodded no to. There was a frown on her face, as she saw how stubborn Kyle was. She'd just wanted to teach him a lesson, when she fired that first shard to his right chest area.

But she used too much mana and force, as she didn't plan to create a hole in his chest. She also didn't expect that much blood to come out, but she shrugged it off.

Shaking her head, she formed another rock shard spinning it more fiercely than the first. she hoped Kyle would tell her to stop or at least say something, but he'd already accepted death.

"You stupid idiot." Lumia muttered, firing off the second rock shard.

"D-don't." Falcon barely spoke. "Re-member Lilith, Elise, t-they're all counting on you." She weakly said as she fainted again. In that split second, Kyle's memory was jogged back to the time Lilith opened the portal.

"Remember Kyle, you must get stronger no matter what. I-i love you, and I'll be waiting for you." Those were the last words he heard from her, before he was sucked in by the portal with falcon.

"Stop!" He shouted, and Lumia immediately stopped the shard from progressing any further, just inches from his only heart.

"Ha! ha.. t-that was close." She panted catching her breath, glad the tension was finally over. She didn't want to kill him at all only teach him a lesson, he was really stubborn at first but alas he'd managed to snap back to his senses.

Remembering Lilith's last wishes, tears streamed down his eyes as his heart ached in pain. He couldn't do anything to save her then, but he had a second chance to make things right now, and he was going to do everything in his power to do so.

'I promise I'll fulfill your wishes.' He vowed in his heart a new hope rekindled.
