Victim of an affair

"Natali set me up! She spiked my drink and sent me to Kelvin's room. Why should I be blamed for the thing I didn't do?" Luliyah shouted, trying to defend herself from her father's accusation.

The voices of Martins and Luliyah grew louder and attracted the attention of the visitors in the cafe, including Natali who followed her father on purpose.

From her seat, Natali could hear Luliyah chanting her name. She knew Luliyah was not an idiot and she must have known that it was her who planned it all. Luliyah must have known that Natali was the one who set her up.

But she didn't care. After all, Luliyah couldn't do anything. What could that woman do? Just at the moment, everyone looked at Luliyah in disgust. They all thought of Luliyah as a cheap woman who flirted with someone else's fiance.

The look on the faces of the visitors seated in the cafe made Natali happy. She could hear them whispering and insulting Luliyah.

"Looks like I know the woman sitting there" One of the diners beside Natali's table spoke quietly.

"Which one?" Her friend asked, making the first woman to discuss and point at Luliyah secretly.

"Eh! That's the woman in the newspaper because of the affair. The one who had an affair with Kelvin Williams!" The diner spoke again.

At the table, five girls with fashionable styles were chatting. Of course, these young women really liked to gossip, especially if it was related to a rich handsome man. Seeing Luliyah's presence gave them a hot topic and they were excited to discuss it.

"Ah, No wonder I've seen her face. Who is the man arguing with her?"

"Isn't that Martins Parker? Natali's father? Surely the man is scolding her for seducing his daughter's fiance."

"How can a father be willing to see his daughter sad? If I were her father, I would beat up that woman too. But, the woman is pretty too."

"Indeed, her face is beautiful. But what's the use of being pretty if she's so cheap."

The five of them continued to talk about the latest news, giggling and not realizing that Natali who sat beside them was also listening.

Hearing the insults directed at Luliyah, Natali felt a little satisfied. But there was one thing that kept hatred in her heart. The clothes and bags that Luliyah wore made her feel jealous. It seems like this is the right time to act.

When she rose from her chair, the group of women beside her turned their heads, as if they recognized her.

"Eh, isn't she..." One woman said while nudging her friend beside her.

"Yes yes! She is Natali Parker, the victim of this affair."

"It turns out that she is very beautiful. How can Kelvin have an affair with someone else, even though he has a fiancee as beautiful as this."

"Eh, looks like she will confront the woman in her fiance's affair...."

"Looks like there will be a big fight."

"Let's record it! This news will absolutely go viral later."

Natali pretended not to hear the words of those beside her but inwardly she was happy to have the support of the public. She felt conceited when other people called her beautiful.

She continued walking towards Luliyah. A look of sadness, anger and annoyance mixed her face. Martins and Luliyah were so immersed in their bickering that they didn't even notice Natali's arrival. Natali took the opportunity to take the coffee glass in front of Luliyah. She spilled all the contents of the glass on Luliyah's clothes all of a sudden.

Luliyah's brightly colored clothes were immediately stained. The limited-edition bag that Natali wanted was drenched in coffee. Deep down, she felt very satisfied seeing Luliyah's chaotic appearance. Still, she couldn't show it. She had to maintain her victim image. The victim of Luliyah and Kelvin's affair.

With her great acting skills, she humiliated Luliyah in public with ease. It didn't take Natali long to cry. Within seconds, tears began to from her eye, making everyone in the room feel sorry for her.

"Why did you seduce my fiance? What did I do wrong with you?" Natali said softly with a sob. She looked at Luliyah with disbelief. Well the scenario was truly extraordinary.

.........

Natali was not the only one who followed Luliyah and Martins meeting.

There was another figure who also followed Luliyah's side. Indeed, Luliyah told Agi to wait at the hospital but that didn't mean that the middle-aged man would leave Luliyah alone. He had been ordered by Kelvin to watch over and guard her. That was why Agi secretly followed Luliyah into the cafe. He kept his distance far enough from Luliyah.

His seat was quite far from Luliyah and he couldn't hear the conversation between Luliyah and her father. Still, he could faintly grasp the core of their conversation, not to mention Martins's voice that grew louder.

Martins asked Luliyah for help but Luliyah refused. That was all he knew.

However, Martins voice became even higher. He attracted the attention of all the visitors in the cafe. It was at that time that Agi felt he should report to Kelvin.

"Sir, Madame is in trouble." Agi said after his telephone line was connected to Kelvin.

"What's wrong?" Kelvin asked.

"Looks like Mr Martins is furious at Madame." Agi answered.

From the telephone line, Kelvin could faintly hear the voices of the crowd and commotion. The voice of Martins's scream was also heard, although it was not very clear.

Kelvin heard the bustling atmosphere that suddenly fell silent. The silence sent a bad feeling to his heart that he immediately left his job and descended into the underground parking lot in his office with Harris. Fortunately, he always left one of his cars at the office for urgent purposes like this.

"I'll be right there." He said curtly and then hung up the phone.

After the phone call ended, Agi felt confused. He didn't know what to do at the time. He was just a driver. He had no right to interfere in the personal matters of Luliyah, his employer. Kelvin also ordered him just to keep an eye on Luliyah from afar. Besides, while reporting the incident to Kelvin, the man did not give him and instruction and only said that he will be there soon.

What should he do now?

It seems the only thing he could do was wait for his master to come. He could only hope that his master would come as soon as possible.
