Unfortunately, Cheveyo wasn't always there to check his sister's medicine. Machakw decided to help Istaqa in his place. Machakw would always give her some pills to help her with her asthma, but no drugs seemed to work for her, and she'd always rush back to the hospital.

Cheveyo would try to treat Istaqa alone as usual, but Machakw would join in. Cheveyo began to trust Machakw with Istaqa like never before.

Machakw was allowed to care for Istaqa without Cheveyo for an entire week because Cheveyo was super busy, and he had filled Machakw in on her healthcare needs.

On the 4th day of that week, something went wrong. Machakw was freaking out and ran to Cheveyo as Cheveyo was taking a break, which shows Cheveyo fully trusted Machakw with his sister because if he did not, he'd have gone to treat his sister instead of allowing Machakw to do so. Unfortunately, Cheveyo taking a complete break on the job wasn't rare, but it was uncommon when it came to strangers or people Cheveyo didn't know well about caring for his siblings.

Cheveyo heard Machakw say, "She's dead; I need help!" Cheveyo immediately stood up in shock.

His sister, Istaqa, was sent to the E.R. as soon as possible. Istaqa's heart had stopped. Istaqa had been going through the wringer regarding health issues throughout that entire week. It wasn't even just asthma. Cheveyo didn't even know what was happening.

Cheveyo thought she had an attack, but it was even worse. It was her heart. She had been having heart problems recently. It kept going on and off like a child playing with a light switch until it stayed off.
