21.Where Am I?

-Happy Harbor, 8:23 PM-

Spider Woman, Deadpool, Ghost Spider, Winter and Sean all swing/leap from building to building as the sun finally goes down

Ghost Spider looks back and sees Sean trailing behind as she tells her friends keep going on, they comply and keep moving forward as Ghost Spider stays back

Meanwhile with Sean he thinks back to how the others reacted..he knew they wouldn't take it lightly but he did what he had to do. Of course he knew Donna, Karen and Superboy would understand but the other's didn't..his mind was fixated on this he didn't even notice that he was standing on a rooftop by himself as he heard a voice snap him back to reality

Gwen:--ean, Sean!

Sean's eyes darted to Gwen who was standing there with a worried look on her face

Gwen:Are you okay?

Was he?..was he really okay? Or was he just acting like it..

"I..I don't know.."

Gwen takes a step forward and calmly grabs Sean's hand

Gwen:Do you want to talk about it?

Sean wanted to..he did but the question is would she understand? Or would she just be like his teammates..

"Yeah..I do..look Gwen what im about to tell you could change the way you see but just know that I did what I had to do alright?"

Gwen calmly nodded as Sean went on to tell her about the mission with him and the other heroes in Santa Prisca..and how he felt like Karen was in trouble so he had to leave and found himself in Themyscria and had to battle Ares the God of War, throughout all of this Gwen had kept a calm expression..

Gwen:And what happened after that?

"I..killed him.."

Gwen's face dropped as Sean sighed knowing what he just did..but he didn't expect was for Gwen to hug him as he awkwardly stood there

"Uh..what are you doing?"

Gwen:I know it might be weird coming from me but I understand, Sean..

Sean pulled away from the hug and gave Gwen a 'wtf' face

"Wait seriously?..your not going to go on this whole moral speech about how killing Ares is wrong and that I should feel guilty and all that bullshit?"

Gwen:What? No! From what you just told you had to kill him and im guessing it was for a good reason, if you didn't the world would probably be on fire or maybe even worse..you saved us Sean

"Oh..well thanks for understanding im glad that you do.."

Gwen:Of course..I've had to make some tough choices when I first became Ghost Spider so I know the pressure of making a choice like that

All of a sudden Gwen's spidey sense goes off as she groans in pain as she stumbles a bit as Sean holds onto her

"Gwen..what is it?"

Gwen:My spider sense..ugh my head it hurts like hell can you---

Before she can finish her sentence the building they're standing on begins to shake as the two see a purple spark begin to form as a purple portal appears before them

"Okay we need to go..ive see enough movies to know that's never a good thing"

Gwen:Great idea

As they turn to make a break for it the portal grows a bit bigger as the mere force it begins to pull them in as Sean buries his hand into the ground but Gwen isn't so lucky as she tries to fire a web to hold her down only for it to snap as Sean grabs her at the last second

"I got you Gwen don't worry!"

A chain comes out of the portal as it wraps around Sean's leg before he can say anything he's forcefully yanked causing him to let go of Gwen as Sean is pulled into the portal, leaving Gwen by herself as it closes

Gwen:Sean!!

Sean is thrown out of the portal as he crashes through the ground with a loud *thoom* he groans a bit as he sees the portal and tries to get to it only for it to close on him

"Oh come on! Seriously!?"

He slams his fists into the ground out of rage as he looks around seeing that he is in a destroyed city..

"Great..just great..*sighs* fuck my life.."

Out of the corner of his eye he sees something..something red..

'(Okay..so me being the dumbass that I am, I'll probably go..if shit goes sideways I can always punch whatever that is)'

Sean cracks his knuckles as he slowly grows closer to whatever he saw..he squints his eyes getting a closer look to it

"Wait ive seen this cape before..it's Superman's.."

Brushing against the wind stuck to a pole is the familiar 'S' but the symbol is black..as the cape flutters against the wind

Sean reaches out and touches the cape but is suddenly tackled by someone..someone fast and strong as his face is slammed against the ground as a hand presses him down

?:You got some nerve touching that cape dumbass!

"Get off of me!"

Sean tries to get back up but whoever this is has one hell of a grip

?:What do you think your doing here? I just want to left alone!

'(Alright screw it!)'

Sean puts his hands against the ground as he slowly pushes himself up as the stranger tries to hold him down he is pushed off as Sean gets back up

The stranger glares at him as Sean lunges forward towards him he jumps up reeling back his fist..only for the stranger to grab Sean by the throat mid-air and throw him through a building as he goes crashing straight through it and comes out the other side only to be hit in the back and grabbed by the leg as this stranger slams Sean into the ground..

As Sean's eyes glow red he roars out in anger as he punches the stranger away as Sean's bones begins to crack and change as Doomsday rises from the ground and roars loudly as he spins around and growls at the stranger and charges right at him

?:No fucking way..

Just as Doomsday is about to hit him he effortlessly catches the hit and uses his own momentum against and flips him over causing him to fall backwards

"

The mystery stranger lifts up his hood revealing a man with a left scar across his face as he looks down on Doomsday

?:I was once like you..I had everything but it was all taken away from me..what im about to tell you is difficult but..

As he pulls out a picture from his pocket and shows it to Doomsday..as his eyes widen in shock as the picture reveals Sean and his friends taking a group picture but older..

?:I'm you Sean..20 years from now..welcome to our future..
