"Hello?" I answered the phone, already expecting the worst. 


I had decided to work from home today, and Sara had chosen to do the same. She was working away on her laptop, comfortably perched on my new couch, with a blanket across her lap. We'd been working in a comfortable silence for a few hours until this unexpected call from a private number.
