All day I felt as if there was a knot in my stomach. I felt in a sort of daze. All I could think of was the last time I had met with Tatiana and how horrible it had been. It seemed that each in-person meeting with her got continually worse, and I could only imagine how terrible this meeting would be. It was true that now we had some leverage over her, but that didn’t mean she was just going to lie down quietly. I could almost picture her rage when I closed my eyes. 


As evening came, the knot grew worse and seemed to create a tightness all through my chest that made it difficult to breathe. I couldn’t eat anything that Jaxon had made for me.
