Chapter 362 : First Date

I felt like my blood was racing through my body. I felt jittery, half from excitement and half from nerves. My thoughts were running along just as fast. I wondered what I should wear, what I would say and more importantly what would my parents say? I tried not to think about that too much.

I kept glancing at the clock, and it felt like it wasn’t moving at all. But when it was only an hour away, I felt like time had raced by and I was unprepared.

"Just go upstairs!" Liz insisted. "Shower and change. I’ll finish watching the kids. Most of their parents will be here soon anyway."

I almost couldn’t tell who was more excited about this date: me or her.

I headed upstairs and quickly got into the shower. I knew I didn’t have a lot of time, but I knew I wanted to wash everything, including my hair. I used all the lavender products my mom had gotten me and blow dried my hair when I finished.
