My phone rings for the fifth time in less than an hour.
“Is it him again?” Sophie asks with a raised eyebrow.
I ignore the call and concentrate on the fabric swatches, nodding.
“How insistent!” Sophie exclaims in exasperation.
“Don't pay attention to him,” I say, cutting off the call.
“How come Sebastian hasn't realized by now that you don't want anything to do with him?” Sophie asks, annoyed.
“I don't know. I don't even care. At some point he'll get tired of calling.”
She sighs.
“If you say so...”
Sophie puts the phone aside, but soon it rings again and she looks at it with an annoyed expression.
A week has passed since the events of the moon dance. The news that Sebastian and Rose were a couple, but had renounced the bond became known to everyone, so they soon became the talk of the town.
