I slowly breathe, trying to stay calm.
I know that getting upset won't prove my point.
“Sebastian has been after me for almost a week now. He calls me every day,” I confess to Levi.
He raises an eyebrow and looks at me with a cold expression. The calmness in his countenance makes me nervous.
“And you didn't tell me about this because...?”
“Because I know you'd kill him if you found out,” I confess, moving closer to him.
“Don't doubt that I will,” he murmurs.
Levi holds out his hand and I sigh. I reluctantly hand him my phone.
He goes through the list of unanswered calls for the week, numbering over a hundred.
“I thought he would give up if he saw I wasn't interested. Evidently I was wrong, so I asked him to leave me alone.”
I sigh. I take a seat in front of him, and look at him. His expression hasn't changed.
From how well I know him, I know he's very upset, though I can't figure out if it's with me.
