Chapter 119: Whatever her alpha had planned 


“What’s going on my love,” my mate asks, returning from helping Lenora, “What did I miss?” 


I’m not sure where to begin. I still feel so sad watching Tabby walk away. I wanted to stop her from leaving, but I don’t even know her well enough to do that. Maybe Levi can help. 


“You missed the world’s worst Alpha, in the flesh,” I tell him, “Seriously, he was absolutely terrible. I didn’t know Alpha’s were even allowed to be that awful. In fact, I’m pretty sure they aren’t.” 


“Who is the world’s worst Alpha,” my mate replies, brow furrowed in concern, “And what did he do to you? Where is he?”


Oh no, this is not going well. I didn’t mean to make my husband think that someone had hurt me. I need to defuse this before he goes full on Alpha. He’s already punched out a bartender on this trip. We don’t need my husband to get into any more fist fights on this trip. At least, not unless it’s absolutely necessary.
