Chapter Five

Opening my eyes, I answered the phone that was ringing.

"Hello?"

My phone definitely feels funny.

"Who is this and where is Avery?" A man said on the phone.

I moved the phone, this isn't mines.

"This is Avery Fiancé. Who is this?"

He laughed,"Avery's not getting married, she doesn't even have a ring on her finger."

"That's where you're wrong, Avery is laying here with me right now, with my dick stuck between us." I said low enough for him to hear me.

The phone started to vibrate, I giggled and answered the FaceTime call. Men just don't stop.

"Let me see her if you are with her." He said angrily.

I flipped the camera and moved the cover. Avery mouth was opened as she slept. She slobber on my bare stomach, close to my hard penis.

I smirked and flinched it.

When did I get so bold? He ended the call making me laugh. I cleared my throat, it isn't funny, I could be in the same position as him.

I moved over and got up.

Avery wouldn't cheat on me because I wouldn't cheat on her. After peeing in the bathroom, I washed my face and brushed my teeth.

I walked back to the front as Avery pour her some orange juice. I watched her sit in the bar stool and take big gulps.

"Are you cheating on me?" I asked leaning on the wall.

She didn't respond.

I moved closer to her and turned it around.

"Answer me Avery."

"When do I have time to cheat? I'm not cheating on anyone."

Why did she lie? A laughed and fixed me some orange juice as well. I was now irritated. Then who was that guy on her phone? It wasn't her dad and she only have one sister, no brothers.

"Time will tell."

I groaned as someone knocked on the door. I walked to it and opened it. My parents, Avery parents, Lucas and Silvia stood with bags of food.

"Do you want some chicken and waffles?" Lucas asked.

I stepped aside as all of them loaded in.

"This guy was downstairs asking about you Avery. Says he is a long lost friend." Avery dad said as another man walked threw the door with him.

This soon? He looked at me and smirked. Maybe, just maybe, the universe could be on my side for once.

"We invited him to stay with us for lunch." My mother said.

I'm about to faint, I have to leave.

I grabbed my keys,"I have to go to the store right quick."

"I'm coming too." Lucas said walking out the door behind me.

He took the keys out my hand and got on the drivers side of my car. I frowned and got on the other side.

I turned up the radio to Miley Cyrus. Party in the USA was playing loudly. We quickly pulled into Krogers making me glare at Lucas.

"Don't worry I won't wreck your car."

I nodded as we got out. When he came closer to me I noticed all the marks on his neck and chest, must be nice.

We walked to the candy isle and started picking up lots of chocolate.

"Silvia didn't say anything to bad about my age. She was angry that I didn't tell her from the beginning." He said and dropped the candy into the cart.

"I told you to do that."

He laughed,"You literally told me to do the opposite. What about you and Avery? Did you two make up?"

"I thought we did, until she was laying on my stomach this morning and her phone rung. That guy that there now, I think they are sleeping around. He FaceTimed her phone and I had an entire argument with him." I said groaning.

"She was still asleep?" He asked.

I nodded,"When she woke up I asked her was she cheating on me. She didn't answer at first, then she said she don't have time to cheat and anybody to cheat on."

We carried the bags of candy out of the store and loaded them into the car.

"You should've said that earlier. He probably won her and her parents over already." He said starting the car.

As Lucas drove, I held unto the door and arm rest. I hope he doesn't kill us. He doesn't even drive his car this fast! Oh that's right, my car is the fastest between ours.

When we opened the door my mother motioned for me to come closer.

"You have to get more real food here Cam. Avery agreed to bring you meals every other day." She said as they set the table.

"I don't need it." I said over my shoulder and walking back into the living room.

Lucas and I played the game as My dad, Avery dad, and the man talked.

"Cam and Lucas, this Is Robert." My dad introduced.

We didn't stop playing the game, we didn't even look their way.

My dad cleared his throat,"That's my daughter, Avery Fiancé. And her friend who seems to be around a lot, Lucas."

"It's ready." Avery said from the kitchen.

I stood up and walked to the kitchen. Our parents sat beside each other, Lucas sat beside Silvia, I sat on the other side or Lucas.

Avery boyfriend sat down on the end on the other side. It was two seats left, one beside him at the end, and the other beside me.

When she walked back in, she looked between the seats making me glare at her. I kicked the seat closer to me to the table making everyone jump.

"Sit Avery, I'm sure everything is perfect, no need to be nervous." He said pulling the chair out beside him.

I started to eat my food as she sat down.

"So when is the wedding?" Dad asked us.

I didn't know this was a business meeting, I would've kicked them out long time ago.

"No wedding, we're going to the courthouse." I said as I chewed on the waffle.

Avery Dad laughed,"A woman like Avery deserves to have a wedding type of marriage."

A woman like Avery?

"I agree." Robert said putting his arm around her chair.

I shrugged,"That's why I like the hoes better, Mr. Sir."

Lucas spit out his drink out as I stood up. Shocked and angry faces was seen around the table. Silvia pat Lucas in the back as he got his coughing under control.

"That was good, I need to walk some of the food off." I said walking off.

I grabbed my phone and headphones from the living room on my way out. I exhaled when the door closed, why was I feeling suffocated? I turned the music all the way up and got on the elevator.

A hand stopped it from closing. I ignored her as she stood beside me.

Again, most of the times I let my mouth overload my ass.

"You're leaving your boyfriend." I mumbled.

She grabbed my hand as we walked out the elevator. I pulled away and continued walking. She's caught. That's why she's acting so close. Instead of apologizing she do this.

Women.

"Cam. I'm not cheating on you. Robert is a friend from college." She said turning me around to her.

"If you say so Princess. You didn't want me from the start, maybe you should go and marry him instead."

Them big green eyes stared at me, hard,"I didn't want you?"

Ok ugh, changed the subject, this is not about me.

"I answered your phone this morning. He was very shocked when I mentioned we were getting married. He then FaceTimed your phone to see was I lying. When he saw how close you were to me, he ended the call." I huffed.

I continued,"And you lied about it when I asked you. If that doesn't scream lovers then what does?"

She didn't respond. I nodded and kept walking. I got common sense who did she think I was? I'm not crazy.

"Cam." She said grabbing my arm again.

I looked at her and she didn't say anything.

"Maybe you need time to yourself to figure out what you really want." I walked back towards the elevator.

She was right on my heels. When we reached our floor she didn't come back to my condo she went to hers. I opened the door, everyone was gone except Lucas and the house was clean.

"I wanted to make sure you was here before I left." He said still playing the game.

I grabbed the bag of candy and sat beside him. I watched him play while I eat candy.

"Want to smoke?"

I shrugged.

He fired up the joint and passed it to me. We both started to play the game and eat candy, until we fell asleep.
