Chapter Fourteen

After I finished eating, I went upstairs and laid down. The house would be the bomb if it was black.

I texted some workers. They immediately respond with they can start tomorrow. I packed some clothes and threw the bag into the car.

I called FaceTimed Aurora.

"Mind if I stay with you for about a month?" I asked her smiling.

She shook her head,"I do mind. I don't want any child attempted murder sleeping under my roof."

I ended the call. I have two whole condos to go to. Pulling in the garage, I got my stuff out and took the elevator to the house.

Sitting down, I looked around, Avery and I would've been married three years. Probably with a kid. I sighed and started to roll two blunts.

After turning on the music, I fired one of the blunts up. I received a message from Lily.

'Can I come over...?'

Hmmm, is it wise? I laughed, Aurora wasn't Avery. She wasn't going to get mad.

Because I won't do anything with Lily.

Who am I to cheat on my pregnant girlfriend?

'Busy, Maybe later.'

Hours passed and I was still on cloud nine. I'm hungry as fuck, I looked at the time, 7:30pm.

I called my mother.

"I'm hungry mother."

"Where is your girlfriend?" She asked.

"At home. I'm in one of the condos."

"Ok, I'll come cook dinner, give me fifteen minutes." She said before hanging up.

I jumped up and opened every window in this house and turned on the air. The tv was on, the music was off.

Someone knocked on the door.

No way my mother is here yet. Usually I wouldn't want to open the door, I'm definitely changing.

Lucas And Mia stepped in.

"You didn't have to invite us to your triple date and movie night Cameron. Your mother did." Lucas pushed passed me sitting down.

My what? I groaned, what didn't my mother understand about just cooking? She could've stopped at Taco Bell for all I care.

"Hey Cam." Mia said sitting down beside him.

"Cam hold the door opened!" I heard my mother yell out.

I looked at Lucas,"Does it smell like weed in here?"

He sniffed and smirked,"No, it smells like Roses."

My mother walked passed me with Aurora dad, Xavier.

"Cameron?" I looked at the door.

"Greet me with a kiss." Aurora said making Lucas groan.

They immediately turned to watch tv. Sometimes Aurora gets a little to carried away with her kisses, especially every since she got pregnant.

I pecked her lips and sat on the couch.

I smirked at her.

Paybacks a bitch.

She sat on my lap and leaned back into me. My phone vibrated with a new message. It was one of Aurora guards.

"Black truck just pulled up with confederate flags, several men got out, be careful, we're following them."

"Did anyone follow you guys here?" I asked them while picking Aurora up.

"No, your mother and I rode together." Xavier said.

"I'm not sure..." Lucas said standing as well.

I threw the phone down on the chair and ran to the back, opening my private closet, I pulled out a gun.

As I loaded it, I could hear Xavier taking the women upstairs.

Or just two.

I groaned as Aurora argued with her father. Walking back out the room, Xavier already had his gun out and Lucas was looking out the window.

"Go upstairs Aurora." I told her as her father walked away.

"I can shoot to Cameron, I'm not letting anyone I love get hurt over my business." She said.

I smiled,"Good, then you can go upstairs and protect my mother and Mia. It's not up for debate, either you go up there or I will carry you up there."

She rolled her eyes and pulled me into a kiss.

"I love you." She said walking upstairs.

"Put the guns away, don't pull them out unless they try to use force." Aurora dad said.

"I don't understand how they could get pass Aurora guards, we're most definitely replacing them sorry ass people."

After setting the phone up high, I quickly turn on Facebook and went live. I put my address on the live while telling the people the situation, someone started to beat on the door.

I walked to it and opened it. They pushed it open and looked at the two men.

"What do you want?"

"Why did you shoot that child Cameron Alexander Jones?" The leader asked.

I laughed,"Get out or I will kill all of your men."

He looked from Xavier to Lucas. For once in my life I noticed Lucas wasn't panicking. The man pulled a bat from behind him.

A bat?

"Where is your gun now?" He asked before swinging.

I ducked and pulled out my gun then shot him in the head. The moment his body dropped, Lucas and Xavier pulled out their guns aiming at the angry red necks.

The bodyguards pushed in along with the police.

They held their guns up at us,"Don't move!"

"If you touch any of us we will sue this time!" Xavier shouted.

The police started to arrest the red necks one by one making me sigh. This has been a long week, I need a vacation.

"Do you have license to carry that gun?" A officer asked.

I smirked,"A U.S. citizen or legal resident over age 18 may generally carry a handgun anywhere within his or her place of residence, place of business, or on private property owned or lawfully possessed by the citizen or legal resident."

"I'm home, I don't need one."

The body was finally picked up and took out by the paramedics.

"You have to pack your stuff, the police department volunteered to pay for all of you a vacation to Hawaii. Just until everything calm down."

Who am I to say no to that?
