“Aeliana, are you ready?”  Jacques spoke, his words piercing through Aeliana like a knife.  Aeliana knew that she was in for it if she traveled to the Ethereal Realm, regardless of what would occur in the Realm of Darkness.  


“Ready for what?”  Aeliana knew deep down, if she truly trusted Jacques, she would be taken to the Ethereal Realm just as she desired.  But she was unsure if Jacques would be the type to take advantage of her kindness.  


“We are going to see your mother, one last time, before we embark on our journey to the Ethereal Realm.  I would like to see you attempt to reconcile with her at least one last time before we truly move on.”  Jacques took Aeliana by the hand and gazed longingly into her eyes.
