Chapter 14:story(part 14):5 vs 10.

The battlefield was a chaotic storm of clashing steel, roaring flames, and the guttural cries of demons. The air was thick with the acrid smell of burning flesh and the metallic tang of blood. The human army, though weary, fought with unyielding determination, their golden armor gleaming under the dim light of the sky.

But the true battle was about to begin.

---

Atop the city walls, the king stood with his commanders, his sharp eyes scanning the battlefield. The demons, though still numerous, were being pushed back. The archers and mages had turned the tide, their precise attacks decimating the demon ranks.

But the king knew better than to let his guard down. The true threat was yet to reveal itself.

"Archers, use potions and skills! Mages, full power! Only fire 50 meters deep into the enemy army!"

The command was met with immediate action. The archers, their movements fluid and precise, reached for the orange potions at their belts. They drank half the contents, their stamina replenished in an instant.

The mages, their robes shimmering with mana, raised their staffs high. The air around them crackled with energy as they prepared their most powerful spells.

---

The archers loaded their bows, some with two or even three arrows. The arrows glowed with elemental energy, their tips reflecting the faces of the archers as they took aim.

**Swoosh!**

**Swoosh!**

**Swoosh!**

The arrows cut through the air, their trajectories arching gracefully before descending on the demon army. The sky lit up with explosions as the arrows struck their targets, the rainbow-colored attacks tearing through the demon ranks.

But the demons were not defenseless. The demon mages raised their staffs, their dark energy swirling around them as they activated their skills.

[Dark Dome!]

A massive, mist-like barrier formed above the demon army, its surface rippling with dark energy. The arrows struck the dome, their explosions lighting up the battlefield.

**Booooom!**

**Doom!**

**Dom!**

The dome cracked under the relentless assault, its surface shattering into pieces that fell to the ground like dark rain.

---

On the ground, the human soldiers fought valiantly, their skills and weapons clashing with the relentless demon horde. A hammer-wielding soldier found himself facing three demons, their grotesque forms closing in on him.

He activated his skill, [Double Power], and swung his hammer with devastating force. The demons were sent flying, their bodies crushed under the weight of his attack.

Nearby, a swordsman fought two demons—one with a staff and the other a mage. The soldier dodged the staff demon's attack with ease, his movements fluid and precise.

[Electric Rush!]

The soldier's body crackled with purple electricity as he slashed horizontally, his blade cutting through the demon's waist. The electric current paralyzed the demon, but before the soldier could deliver the finishing blow, the mage demon attacked.

[Dark Arrows!]

A dark, A-shaped projectile flew toward the soldier. Gritting his teeth, the soldier slashed vertically, releasing a purple energy wave that collided with the dark arrow.

**Boooom!**

The explosion sent debris flying, but the soldier didn't falter. He turned his attention to the mage demon, his eyes burning with determination.

This was war. One mistake, one wrong move, and it would all be over.

---

At the edge of Monoliga Forest, the ten demon commanders stood in silence, their red eyes glowing with murderous intent. The leader, a demon named Blake, finally spoke.

"It is time."

The commanders vanished into afterimages, their movements so fast they seemed to blur into the wind. They reappeared on the battlefield, their presence alone enough to send shivers down the spines of even the most seasoned soldiers.

The king, watching from the walls, knew the true battle was about to begin.

"Get ready for battle," he said to his commanders. "They have arrived."

Erick, Andry, Clora, and Jack nodded, their expressions grim. With a swift movement, they vanished from the walls, reappearing on the battlefield to face the demon commanders.

---

The battlefield shifted as the main fighters entered the fray. The king and his commanders stood facing the ten demon commanders, their auras clashing like titans.

The demon leader, Blake, smirked as he addressed the king.

"So... are you humans going to surrender, or...?"

The king's expression remained stoic, but his eyes burned with determination.

"Maybe a few hours ago... but not now."

He unsheathed his golden spear, its divine light cutting through the oppressive darkness.

"Come at me, all of you! I will take it upon myself to finish you in just a few minutes!"

The demon commanders laughed, their voices filled with mockery. But the king didn't flinch. He raised his spear, its tip glowing with golden energy.

"Let's see then," Blake said, his voice dripping with malice.

The battle began in earnest, the king and his commanders facing off against the ten demon commanders. The air crackled with energy as their skills and weapons clashed, the ground trembling under the force of their attacks.

---

Erick charged at one of the demon commanders, his twin swords gleaming with elemental energy.

[Blazing Slash!]

His swords erupted in flames as he swung them in a wide arc, the heat searing the air. The demon commander blocked the attack with a dark shield, but Erick didn't let up.

Andry, the assassin commander, moved like a shadow, his twin blades slicing through the air with deadly precision.

[Shadow Strike!]

His blades struck the demon commander from behind, the dark energy of his attack piercing through the demon's defenses.

Clora, the mage commander, raised her staff, the crystal at its tip glowing with fiery energy.

[Inferno Blast!]

A massive fireball shot from her staff, its heat intense enough to melt steel. The demon commander dodged, but the explosion sent him flying.

Jack, the archer commander, stood at a distance, his bow drawn and arrows glowing with elemental energy.

[Piercing Shot!]

His arrows flew through the air, their trajectories precise and deadly. The demon commanders dodged, but Jack's arrows were relentless.

The king, meanwhile, faced off against Blake and Six other demon commanders. His golden spear gleamed as he activated his skill.

[Divine Spear Strike!]

The spear shot forward, its golden light cutting through the darkness. Blake raised his dark shield, but the force of the attack sent him skidding back.
