### Chapter 15: Victory? (Part 15)
**East Side of Humility City**
The wind howled fiercely, carrying with it the distant echoes of screams, beastly shrieks, and explosions. The battlefield was a chaotic symphony of destruction, and at its heart stood the king, his golden spear gleaming under the darkening sky.
"Come at me, all of you! I'll finish you in just a few minutes!" the king declared, his voice cold and unwavering. His spear pointed menacingly at the six demon commanders before him.
The once-smirking demon leader now wore a deep frown. He had faced kingdom kings before, but never one so brazen. The king's aura was unnervingly calm, as if he were holding back a vast reservoir of power. Something was off—terribly off.
"Even a kingdom king should tread carefully when facing six demon commanders," the leader muttered under his breath. "Yet, he speaks as if victory is already his. What is he planning?"
The king's indifferent expression only deepened the leader's unease. The energy radiating from the king was minimal, a mere fraction of what he was capable of. It was as if the king was toying with them—or preparing for something far more devastating.
The demon leader's team was formidable: three archers, one mage, and two sword wielders, including himself. Together, they were a force to be reckoned with. Yet, the king's confidence was unshakable.
"Victory should be ours," the leader thought, trying to reassure himself. "But why do I feel like we're walking into a trap?"
---
The king had no intention of prolonging the confrontation.
**Dum!**
**Crack!**
With a single stomp, the king vanished, leaving behind a crater where he had stood. He reappeared instantly in front of the demon leader, his spear thrusting forward with blinding speed.
The demon leader barely had time to react. A yellow barrier materialized in front of him, shielding him from the king's attack.
**Doom!**
The spear struck the barrier, shattering it into fragments. The force of the blow sent the demon leader flying 70 meters, black blood spewing from his mouth.
The other demons sprang into action. Arrows whistled through the air, aimed at the king from multiple directions.
**Swoosh! Swoosh!**
The king spun his spear with effortless precision, deflecting the arrows with a flick of his wrist.
**Clang! Clang!**
**Boom! Boom!**
The arrows exploded harmlessly in the distance, but the king wasn't given a moment to breathe. A sword wielder lunged at him, aiming for his chest.
The king blocked the attack with his spear, but he sensed movement behind him. A mage was preparing a spell.
**[Golden Barrier]**
A transparent golden dome enveloped the king just as a cloud of dark acidic gas erupted around him.
Boom!
The gas dissipated harmlessly against the barrier, but the king's expression hardened.
"That was close," he muttered. **"I almost forgot about the mage. Well, it's settled then—the mage dies first."

Elsewhere in the east, another battle was brewing.
Clora, the human mage commander, stood face-to-face with her demon counterpart. The demon mage wore black robes that blended seamlessly with the darkness, her purple hair glowing faintly under the dim light.
**"So... do you have anything to say?"** the demon asked, her voice dripping with mockery.
**"Nothing to say to someone who kills for pleasure and inflicts suffering,"** Clora replied, her voice laced with disgust.
The demon shrugged. **"You can't blame us entirely. You humans kill to get stronger too, don't you?"**
**"We hunt beasts and monsters, not our own kind,"** Clora retorted. **"You demons slaughter our men, violate our women, and feast on their flesh. You're nothing but monsters."**
The demon smirked. **"I never claimed to be a saint."**
**"Neither did I,"** Clora said, her expression hardening.
The demon's staff glowed with a dark purple light, and her aura engulfed the area in black energy.
Clora countered immediately.
**[Sun's Burst]**
A brilliant red light erupted from her staff, clashing against the demon's darkness. The two energies fought for dominance, each trying to overpower the other.
This was a domain clash—a battle of souls and mana. The stakes were high; losing meant more than just defeat—it meant losing a part of oneself.
The domains expanded, each covering 40 meters, but neither could gain the upper hand.
**"Let's see who's stronger,"** the demon taunted, her voice echoing through the darkness.
**"Indeed,"** Clora replied, her eyes burning with determination.

#### The Sword Duel
In another part of the battlefield, Erick, the human sword commander, faced off against his demon counterpart.
The demon's black sword radiated an eerie energy, while Erick's golden blade shone with righteous fury.
**"So, you're not surrendering?"** the demon asked, his voice cold.
**"Why don't you surrender?"** Erick shot back, his tone mocking.
The demon sneered. **"Just because you're a commander doesn't mean you can claim victory. We demons have advantages you humans can't match."**
**"Advantages?"** Erick laughed. **"Against real power, your so-called advantages are worthless."**
The two unsheathed their swords simultaneously, the sharp sound cutting through the air.
**Swoosh! Swoosh!**
They clashed with blinding speed, their swords meeting in a flurry of strikes. Shockwaves rippled through the battlefield, a testament to their immense power.
