Leap Of Faith

"Trust me, you look amazing!" Rina assured

"Now leave, don't keep him waiting Zel!"

Hazel picked up her purse and headed towards the door.

"Wish me luck" she pleaded

"With you looking as hot as that, you've got luck on your side already" Rina adds

"Okay then." Hazel pulls the door open

"Holl up Zel"

Hazel turned with a look of worry on her face.

"What is it?" Rina asked

"Did you…you know. Prepare for tonight?"

Hazel's brows furrowed; what on earth is Rina talking about? Did she get dressed only to hear this?

Really?

After all the makeup and fancy but gorgeous red dress, what more did she need for this so-called date night?

"What are you talking about Rina?"

"You know. Jason might want to invite you over. For the night and…."

"There is no way I'm going to hook up with a guy I just met! Rina! Gosh"

"Just saying…" Rina said, her tone underlined with mischief.

Hazel rolled her eyes.

"Expect me back by 11"

"I won't be expecting you tonight Zel" Rina muttered

"And keep the doors open"

"Why? You won't be coming home tonight"

Hazel narrowed her eyes on Rina who burst into laughter. This never gets old

"Just have fun, Hazel. And use protection okay?"

, "Shut up!!" Hazel yelled and the only response she got was her friend's laugh of mockery.

Hazel found her way down the stairs, the sight of the car before her way breathtaking.

A limo

White aesthetic looking Limp. The type you might want to keep for your view.

"Woah"

Her phone beeped; it was Jason

Is this guy watching her? She had to take a look around for anything suspicious.

Nothing.

How on earth did he know when to call?

"Hey," Hazel said in a low tone.

"Do you like the ride?" He asked

"Jason. .why get a car this….luxurious looking car to….you really shouldn't have"

Jason chuckled

"Is that a yes?"

"Jason"

"Or I'll get you another ride"

Hazel couldn't believe this man. Is this guy for real right now?

"I love it," she said in defeat.

"I'll be expecting you then"

"Yeah"

Hazel approached the car as the driver held out the door for her. Whoever he is, this Jason guy is not an average engineer as he claimed.

The car had a welcoming atmosphere as well as the smell of luxury. The drinks, the white seats, the ice bowl on the centre tabletop, and the comfy feeling…it is an amazing feeling…

Hazel settled on the seat and soon felt the vehicle moving quite smoothly. She could barely notice the movement of the car, steady and quiet.

Is this how luxury feels like? Because it feels good…

She couldn't bring herself to touch anything aside from the seats. She wasn't the type to overuse leverage. Just because someone offers to hug her doesn't mean she would create some form of familiarity with that person.

She is very much aware of her limits and she never crosses that line.

The door pulled open with the driver stepping aside for her. When did the ride end?

"We're here ma'am " the man offered

Hazel got out of the car with a smile on her face.

"Thank you" she replied

"Have a lovely night ma'am"

The limo drove off.

Hazel was standing right in front of the most expensive restaurant in the country. It was the type of place only elites go. She once heard that a simple omelette costs over two thousand dollars and this is the least of their unbelievable prices.

Ohkay…Jason…is not a regular guy. Not even close.

She stepped into the restaurant in uncertainty. She was mapping out how she would walk out of there without looking like a fully grown crazy woman who had no idea where she was going.

Hazel approached the receptionist with a nervous smile on her face.

"Good evening," she said

"Miss Hazel?" The receptionist asked with a smile.

"U..ye..yeah"

"Mister Jason has been waiting for you. Right this way miss" the receptionist led Hazel to the top floor of the building.

Heads turn in awe as they watch her walk by; she is a really attractive young woman. Attractive…

This was all the confirmation Hazel needed; Rina did a great, awesome and fantastic job on her look tonight.

Thanks a lot, Rina.

"Mister Jason is right here" the receptionist offered, standing right outside the door.

"Thank you" Hazel whispered

The receptionist smiled and took her to leave in a hurry. More like she was trying to avoid something.

She noticed that the young receptionist wasn't so comfortable during their walk down here. Is it Jason?

Hazel pulled the door open, a thousand questions running in her mind.

And Jason must give her answers. Well deserved answers…

Jason was by a see-through wall of glass, his hands in his pocket and eyes roaming her body in pure awe.

"Should I go ahead and propose to you?" Jason asked with a smile.

"How sure are you of a positive answer ?" Hazel asked as she shut the door behind her.

Jason shrugs.

"One thing I know is…you would want to get to know me first right?" He asked

Hazel chuckled.

"True."

"What do I get for the right answer?" Jason asked

"Don't expect too much Jason. This is a start" Hazel wrapped her arms around him in a gentle embrace.

Goodness, she could feel his biceps bulging out of his suit. How fit is this guy?

"We start by making an order, don't we?" Jason asked as she took a step back.

Hazel laughed

"Of course"

The duo settled on the grand table, sitting opposite each other. A glass of wine buried in ice sat in the middle of the table as well as two wine glasses.

"How was your ride down here?" Jason asked as he tries to open the wine bottle

"How about we start with the things that I don't know about you?"

Jason smirked

"So. What do you want to know Miss Hazel?"

"Your full name," Hazel asked

Jason laughed.

" I want to know."

Jason moved the glass towards her.

"Jason. Jason Maculy"

Hazel nods.

"Not bad right?" He winked at her

"And you're not the average engineer you mentioned in your profile are you?" Hazel asked

Jason folded his arms.

"Why do I feel like I am being interrogated right now?"

"Or do you have something to hide?" Hazel asked gazing into his eyes in seriousness.

Jason returned the intensity of the gaze in silence.

"Why do you think so?"
