Hazel glanced up at Eva in shock, not only did she push her, she dared to threaten her about Vincenzo.

Hazel stood on her feet, dusting her dress, her eyes focused on Annie's handy work.

This would be so difficult to clean and she knew Annie had poured her heart into this piece.

"Why should I listen to you?" Hazel asked quietly, as she met Eva's penetrative gaze.

"And the last I checked, Mr Vincenzo is my boss. Why do you see a problem with me, Miss Eva?" Hazel asked calmly

Again, even though she knew nothing about the woman standing in front of her, Hazel knew she was helping around here and she would have to treat every guest with respect regardless…

"Help.." Eva said with distaste

"Is that the new scheme of…." Eva examined Hazel's appearance with disgust

"Peasants like you, to steal rich and well-to-do men like Vincenzo from a gorgeous lady like myself?" Eva asked

One thing Hazel couldn't deny is Eva is gorgeous as she said. She was like a model straight from the front cover of a magazine.

"I don't know what you are trying to accuse me of" Hazel states

Eva glared at Hazel like she was about to hit her across the face.

"You think I'm a fool? You think I don't see the way he looks at you?" Eva asked, furious about the obvious truth.

"That's quite an observation for someone who just got here" Hazel muttered

"Excuse me?!" Eva snapped.

Hazel exhaled, she had no idea why she felt like she could talk to Eva this way. For all that it's worth, Eva could be Vincenzo's girlfriend.

Even though Vincenzo said these words earlier that day…she wasn't still clear what her stand was and she wasn't about to react in a way she would later regret.

She loves her job here and her company with Annie, she couldn't sacrifice that for anything…

"My apologies. I am Mr Vincenzo's maid. If my closeness to him makes you feel uncomfortable, I am sorry. I am just doing my job" Hazel replied

"Right! Your job of opening your legs to him whenever he asks " Eva accused

The one time she'd done that, she was drugged and confused. She wasn't that type of person and it was okay for Eva to think of her that way.

She barely knew Hazel, of course, she could make such conclusions…..

"I will return to my work now" Hazel bowed her head and took her to leave.

"Street rat! Who is going to clean all this mess?" Eva shot back but Hazel walked on.

She hurried to the store room to grab cleaning equipment but she burst into tears instead.

Her outburst was sudden, it surprised her and she had no intentions of allowing Eva's words to get to her but they did.

She was upset because Eva had called her names, she'd heard worse and that was the least of the horrible names people had called her.

She was upset because Eva accused her of sleeping with Vincenzo. She was upset because she might have had a one-night stand with a guy who had a girlfriend.

Maybe Eva was right…

What is she to Enzo? And all these connections she felt for him?

Why would he have a girlfriend and keep her at bay? Was he using her?

Hazel wiped the tears away from her face in anger, she can't cry about this…

This made no sense to her.

Why would she allow Eva to get to her so quickly? She's only here a day and she already got a reaction, what would happen if she spends a week?

Hazel took a glance at her reflection, her tears were no longer visible and her mind up with a new resolution.

She heads up the stairs to clean the broken piece and maybe get rid of the fruits. Nobody would want to eat something that already made contact with the floors…

She cleans up the mess and heads down the stairs where she disposes of the refuse.

If Vincenzo wasn't going to tell her where they stand, then she can as well keep her distance and do her job…

"Hazel darling?"

Hazel turned at the sound of Millie's voice.

"Aunt Millie" Hazel greets cheerfully

Millie's eyes stared at her in concern on seeing her face.

"Did you cry, dear?" Millie asked

Hazel offered a soft chuckle

"Don't worry about me Aunt. I'm fine. I just want to know how your stay has been. The meals and everything? What can I get you?" Hazel asked

"Child" Millie called, her hand resting on Hazel's shoulders. She had the mildest eyes and Hazel could feel the concern in her voice.

"I am worried for you Child. You've been an excellent kid, I don't like to see you as this" Millie said

Hazel nods, a smile on her face.

"I am going to be fine, Aunt. I promise" Hazel assured

Millie shook her head

"I am not very well convinced," she said in honesty

Hazel wondered what she could do to assure Millie. She didn't want to bother anyone about her inner conflicts, she would love to resolve them on her own….

"Come with me" Millie heads towards the stairs

"Aunt?" Hazel asked

"Come, come. No time to waste" Millie said

Hazel follows Millie up the stairs despite her reluctance, she wanted to know what this was going to be about.

Hazel steps into Millie's room…it was like a different world entirely…

The room was surprisingly huge and there were three-bed spaces in the room, two of which were occupied by Yin and Rose. The room radiates with colourfully light from dancing runes of pink, Yellow and blue. They were clustered in a circle just below the ceiling.

It made the room look like a club lit with a colourful disco ball…

"Woah…" Hazel said starting with a huge smile on her face

"Just the person I was hoping to see" Yin smiled

"Hello Aunt Yin" Hazel smiled "hello aunt Rose" she greets

Rose ignored her, her eyes buried in one of those ancient-looking books as well…

"Ignore her. My goodness…." Yin gasped as she hurried toward Hazel.

She held her face in deep concern…

"Did you cry?" Yin asked

Hazel smiled weakly.

"I am an alright aunt. I promise" Hazel assured

Yin frowns

"Something has to be done about this " Yin returns to her bed. She went through her sheets as she searched profusely for something.

"Ah, ah!"

Yin holds up a….wand?

Hazel gasped in shock, and laughter escaped her.

"You…you are…Aunt?" Hazel asked

"Fairies my dear" Millie smiled

Hazel found it hard to believe.

"Come sit dear"

A chair pops out of nowhere and Hazel found herself seated comfortably.

"We are going to wipe that sadness off you and give you a show to remember!" Yin cheered

"I still find this hard to believe Aunt!" Hazel said.

She had no idea why she didn't doubt the fact that she was seeing this and living too. For some reason, she believed this to be her reality….

An amazing one is full of surprises!

"So, where do we start my queen?" Yin bows slightly

"My queen?" Hazel asked

"That title is meant for members of the Royal family " Rose glances up at Hazel" not the likes of her" she adds

"Her lineage runs with blue blood" Millie corrects

"Blue blood?" Hazel puzzled

Did they know something about her family that she doesn't know?

Millie smiled at her

"Story for another day " she promised

"First, a transformation trick"

Yin and Millie move their magical wands around in cricket until they are fully covered in pixie dust.

This was the most amazing experience, Hazel! She didn't care if this was a hallucination! She was so happy seeing this right now and that was all that mattered to her

The pixie evaporated to reveal humans with wings. Beautiful and shiny wings…

"Woah!" She said

She'd always thought fairies were tiny creatures with wings according to the story books she'd read as a kid but it was far different.

"You look…younger," Hazel said.

"The power of magic darling " Millie replied

Hazel watched them fly around the runes at the ceiling, making contact with it through their fingers.

It was the most beautiful sight she's ever seen and she had almost forgotten her incident with Eva. This was like an emotion healing show…

Yin moves closer to her, her face radiant and glowing with youth.

"It is okay if you need time Hazel. And it is okay to demand answers. That is the only way to ascertain you are aware of what is going on" Yin said

Hazel exhaled

"I just want him to be honest with me. And tell me the truth" Hazel admits " Just so I can know what we are and why we feel so close to each other… I just want him to tell me" she adds

"And he will. He's home already. Go ask your questions" Millie encourages

Rose shook her head, this isn't going to end well…
